Izuku Midoriya found himself sitting alone in the common room, looking at the clock.

I'm never the first one here and normally everyone else would be here by now. What's going on? Did they change the time and no one told me?

"Where is everyone, Midoriya? We're set to start the movie in five minutes," Iida said as he took a seat next to the other boy.

"Todoroki and Satori went to get snacks, but I'm not sure about the other girls. We're usually all here by now."

Midoriya was about to go upstairs and check on them when the elevator on the girls side opened and released Uraraka, Tsu, and Yaoyorozu into the commons. The boy pasted a bright grin on his face as he watched the group of girls head toward the couches. But, inwardly, he was nervously running scenarios in his head.

Satori is going to hate that Yaoyorozu is here. And I don't blame her one bit. I understand her reasoning for wanting to keep her relationship with Todoroki a secret. Unfortunately for her, Todoroki's a little oblivious at times. He probably doesn't realize his rejection made zero impact. And I think we all underestimated Yaoyorozu's tenacity and the other girls's encouragement. Satori could most likely see this coming, but Todoroki has no clue what he's dealing with.

Midoriya watched the girls strategically choose seats. Uraraka had stretched herself out in a large chair while Tsu and Yaoyorozu took seats on the sofa, only leaving one open seat...next to Yaoyorozu. It was clear what they wanted to do...force Todoroki into close proximity with Yaoyorozu while cutting out Satori. They should know it won't work, it didn't at lunch yesterday, he thought.

Midoriya began strategizing. Maybe if I can get Iida to move over next to Yaoyorozu, Todoroki and Satori could squeeze onto this smaller couch with me. Actually, a more successful strategy would be to leave this sofa to them entirely. I bet Uraraka wouldn't put up a fuss if I asked to sit next to her in that chair, especially since we'd have to get quite cozy to fit us both...but I don't know if I can handle that quite yet. I feel my face getting red just thinking about it. Nope. I can't do that. As much as I want to help them, it might be better to let Todoroki and Satori address it themselves.

Before he could make a decision one way or the other, Satori and Todoroki came in from outside, bags in hand. He watched Satori freeze, as she immediately noticed the setup. A sad look crossed her face and she whispered something to Todoroki.

Midoriya felt like a proud parent when he saw Todoroki grab her hand and pull her toward the group, a determined look on his face. Todoroki grabbed the snack bags from Satori and gave her a little push onto the couch next to Yaoyorozu. He dropped the snack bags onto the center table and walked over to the other side of the commons. Grabbing a throw pillow, he walked back and tossed it on the floor in front of Satori, sitting himself down in front of her, leaning back against her legs.

"What are we watching tonight?" he asked, shifting his shoulders a bit to get comfortable against Satori.

Midoriya cleared his throat, "Um, my pick is first and it's Into the Spiderverse. Then, it's Tsu's choice."

"I chose Tangled, ribbit."

"Snacks are on the table, help yourselves," Todoroki said before leaning his head backwards into Satori's lap and looking up at her. Midoriya jumped up to grab a bag of chips and to turn on the movie. He was hoping to draw everyone's attention away from the couple, but wanted to facepalm when he heard Todoroki say, "Can you do that thing where you comb my hair with your fingers? I'm starting to get a headache and it always helps when you do that."
