We all piled into a bus that took us to one of the training fields. We stepped off the bus and entered a residential neighborhood. Once we were all settled, Mr. Aizawa began to explain today's assignment.

"Each of you has different strengths and weaknesses. You need to know what those are so you can realize your full potential and usefulness. Here's the situation for today's drill. There's been an earthquake and while most of the citizens of this neighborhood have been evacuated, there are four people unaccounted for. They are most likely trapped or injured and unable to move on their own. Your job is to locate them and return them to the evacuation point."

We all began to nervously look at those around us. Did we just split up into teams and go looking, like we did in the exam? That seems a bit tedious when there is a whole neighborhood and only four people to find.

Luckily, Mr. Aizawa gave us further instructions. "Iida, Yaoyorozu. As class reps, I'm putting you in charge. Your job is to hand out assignments, taking into account your classmates' quirks. You'll also have a few communication devices to disperse. Not everyone will receive one, so choose wisely who will be responsible for the communication between teams. Lastly, you need to get in the habit of using each other's and responding to your own hero names. I'll be monitoring your progress, let's get started."

We turned our attention to Iida and Yaoyorozu, who took their positions in front of the group. Iida began by laying out the strategy we would use. "I think the most important aspect is to first nail down the locations of the missing citizens. For that we'll need a scouting team. Jiro, Shoji, and Koda. I'll be leaving that to you."

"Hero names," Mr. Aizawa grumbled out.

"Yes, sir, excuse me. I mean Earphone Jack, Tentacole, and Anima will be in charge of scouting the locations of those who are missing. Tentacole will take one of the earpieces so he can communicate with the others. Next, we'll form four groups to rescue each citizen. Each group will have a team leader who will be in communication with the scouting team." He paused and surveyed our group. He turned to look at Yaoyorozu. "We should try to divide the teams so that each one has a variety of skill sets."

"I agree," she said, scanning over us. "We should try to ensure each group has a member that excels in strength, speed, or can aid in excavation if necessary."

We watched as the two conversed quietly between themselves, obviously deliberating what groups we should form. It was silly to me, because I got the feeling we'd be doing a lot of these training exercises. It didn't really matter which groups we were in. And in the real world, how often would you get to choose a perfect group? Finding out how well quirks, as well as personalities, worked together was going to be a lot of trial and error. But I wasn't the one in charge, so I tried my best to patiently wait as they began dolling out assignments.

"Okay," Iida finally turned to address the rest of us. "I'll lead one team. With me will be Tailman, Gaia, and Can't Stop Twinkling. Froppy will be in charge of the second team consisting of Grape Juice, Chargebolt, and Tsukuyomi."

"The third group will be led by Sero, I mean Cellophane," Momo said. "He will be joined by Red Riot, Pinky, and Invisible Girl."

That had the potential to be chaotic. Hopefully Sero could reign them in. The groups seemed to be well thought out, with quirk potential distributed evenly. But I froze when Momo continued.

"And I will lead the last group," she said, raising her hand. "Uravity and Shoto you're with me."

I had forgotten. My boyfriend, who wasn't my boyfriend at the time, had used his actual name as his hero name. It was weird to hear someone other than me call him that and I was taken aback to hear Momo, of all people, say it.
