The morning after our disastrous movie night, I woke up and nervously headed downstairs. I wasn't sure if I was about to be ignored, apologized to, or insulted some more. I didn't need to worry because, like most weekend mornings, no one was downstairs yet. I opted to go for a run to try and clear my head a bit. When I returned the dorm was a lot more lively.

Most of my classmates were sitting in the dining room eating breakfast. A breakfast it looked like Ochako and Tsu were making for everyone.

"Kana!" Tsu was waving my direction, encouraging me to come near. Once I approached she dropped her voice. "We wanted to apologize for last night. Both for making a big scene and for not being more considerate of your feelings."

"Thanks, Tsu." I appreciated the fact that she was apologizing, but it was still hard to just forget about everything that happened.

"I'm sorry, too, Kana," Ochako murmured. "I know you won't believe me, but it wasn't anything personal. I was letting my own insecurities blind me to the situation. I hope you and Todoroki are happy together."

"Thanks, Ochako. Let's just try our best to put this situation behind us. And thank you for breakfast," I said as I took the plate of food Ochako held out to me.

I quickly turned and found Shoto sitting with Iida and Midoriya. I was feeling conflicted about the girls' apologies, but I tried not to let it show. They were probably sincere about being sorry for ruining movie night. I still wasn't sure how sorry they were for the mean things they said.

As I sat down next to Shoto, he wrapped an arm around my shoulders and leaned to whisper in my ear. "Is this okay, now that most of them know?"

I smiled. "It's okay. In fact, it feels nice not hiding."

He placed a small kiss on my temple and turned back to the other boys.

And that was it. No one commented or made a big deal about it. Things went back to normal. The only difference was that Shoto and I were less discreet in our hugs and hand-holding. As the days passed, I felt a little disappointed that there were no repeats of our time on the sofa. But we had both been insanely busy with training, as the licensing exam was quickly approaching.

The only reprieve I had was game nights and movie nights, both of which had gained new members. Most of the class had joined in on movie nights now, making them much louder and more like a giant party. Game nights had also seen an influx of people coming to game with our usual trio. It was nice knowing I had made some headway in befriending my classmates, but I noticed Ochako, Tsu, and Momo, despite their apologies, still acted a little stiff toward me.

Two weeks had flown by and class 1-A was now headed to the licensing exam. As I snuggled up next to Shoto on the bus, I realized how much I had missed this, missed him. I tilted my head up and kissed him.

"What was that for?" he asked, looking a little shocked.

"No reason, really. It just seems like it's been awhile since I've kissed you. We've been so busy these past couple of weeks...I missed being like this with you."

He gave me a small smile and a quick kiss in return before tightening his arms around me. "You're not embarrassed to kiss me in front of the others?" he quietly asked.

"No, why would you think that?"

"You turned pretty red when we were caught kissing on the couch before, so I assumed..."
