"I got it! Guys I got it!" I screamed as I ran down the hallway to Jerry, Eddie, and Milton. "The line at GamePlayer was a mile long, I didn't get any sleep, but it was worth it. I am the proud owner of Kung Fu Cop '77!" They all murmured terms of impressment.

"I know what you have to go through when there's a hot new game on the market," Milton spoke up. "I had to wait 2 hours when French Horn Hero came out."

"There was a line for French Horn Hero?" Eddie asked incredulously.

"No, there was a line of jocks waiting to see who'd buy it," Milton corrected.

"Hey guys," Cami and Kim greeted in unison.

"Hey Kim, Hey Cami," we all greeted back in unison.

"Yo Eddie," Jerry said. "I heard Stacy Wiseman in your gym class, really likes you."

"She likes me?" Eddie asked excitedly. "I'm gonna ask her out."

"Do you even know who she is?" I asked.

"No, but she's a girl and that's my type," Eddie replied.

"Don't ask me how I know, because I'm not revealing my sources. Let's just say I know people," Jerry shrugged. "I'm dialed in."

"He accidentally walked into the girls' bathroom and heard her talking," Kim filled us in.

"Whatever Kim. My point is, I had my ear to the ground," Jerry played it off.

"You had your ear to the ground because security tackled you for being in the girls' bathroom," Cami corrected making me, Milton, and Eddie snicker. Kim and Cami took off their scarves, one with a gorgeous opal necklace and the other with a hideous dragon eye necklace.

"Whoa, Cam, that necklace is the ugliest, creepiest thing I've ever seen in my life," Jerry deadpanned. "Can I have it?"

"No you can't have it!" Cami declined, slapping away Jerry's hand. "Kim's aunt Francy is in town and, because I'm 'technically her niece', she gave me some of her jewelry. It's from the 70s," Cami explained. "I also have to wear this mood ring, but I like this one. Kim got lucky and won rock, paper, scissors so she got to wear her aunt's modern jewelry."

"She's staying with my family so she has to wear it," Kim teased.

"She's just happy she doesn't have to wear this crap in front of Carlos," Cami sang, shutting her locker. "Anyway, she calls this necklace the Dragon's Eye and says it has magical powers."

"She also says she's engaged to the Paul Revere statue at the library," Kim told us.

"She's what we call, kooky," Cami added making us all nod. The bell rang indicating the beginning of class.

"Alright! Time for gym class. I'm gonna show Stacy Wiseman what I've got," Eddie announced, ripping off his pants to reveal some short shorts. We all cringed looking away. "My mom says I'm not gonna have these legs forever, so baby I'm gonna use 'em!"

I walked into the dojo tiredly. I barely was able to notice Cami, Kim, Jerry, Milton, and Eddie were in the room. I walked up to my locker to grab my things. "Well, I got to first base with Stacey Wiseman," Eddie sighed.
