||THAT AMAZING KRUPNICK||

"Smoothie here! Smoothie here! One free smoothie!" Rudy yelled in a weird accent as me and Jack were looking at some cars online. Yeah. I'm getting my learner's permit this week and my parents promised me a practice car. We're rich. It won't hurt us. I think I'm gonna go with a black Ford Mustang. "Oh yeah!" Rudy threw the smoothie at some poor guy who was passing by. The smoothie splattered onto the building, missing the guy by a couple feet. "Who else wants a smoothie here?"

"Why don't we just use the sign," Taylor, the smoothie girl, suggested. She also happens to be one of my only female friends now that I'm back in Seaford since Kim is still off at Otai.

"Yo Jack. You finally found a way to get back to Denver to surprise your new baby cousin?" Jerry asked as he walked up to me and Jack.

"No. The flight for both me and Cami is 600 bucks. I guess we could take a cab there, but that's also pretty expensive," Jack considered.

"Yo, why're you looking at Ford Mustangs? You finally getting a car, Jack? Because that's a lot of money too," Jerry pointed out.

"No. Cami is. She's getting her learner's permit this week and her parents promised her a car," Jack replied.

"Plus, they owe me for cleaning your closet last month," I shuddered.

"Guys! Check out what I just got at the magic shop," Milton held up a hollow plastic ball painted with metallic silver and a handkerchief.

"Dude, it looks like a giant hanky," Jack laughed.

"Do you know how much snot that could hold?" Jerry asked in disbelief, reaching for the giant tissue. "Ya know, we'll all use it. I'll go first."

"Jerry!" I grimaced, taking the handkerchief away. "I'm sure there's a more logical reason as to why Milton is carrying around a giant tissue."

"Thank you, Cami," Milton thanked, taking the handkerchief. "This handkerchief is for a trick. Behold, the dancing ball. The allure of the illusion makes it impossible to look away."

"Milton, I hate to burst your bubble, but I can see the plastic ball attached to the string behind the handkerchief," I told him.

"Hello Seaford!" a familiar voice boomed making us all look away.

"Oh that's the bad boy of magic, Ronnie Blaze," Jerry realized. Blaze lifted up a black tarp, disappearing, just to reappear walking out of the magic shop. We all gaped in impressment.

"For their grand opening today, Ta Da Magic has brought me here to blow your minds. Shpew!" Blaze imitated an explosion. "Follow me to the beach, where I will switch bodies with...a turtle."

"Dude, let's go," Jerry beckoned. Me and Jack followed excitedly.

"Behold as I switch-" Blaze snapped. "-into a turtle's body," spoke the neighboring turtle. We all gaped again before applauding shortly. "And now, a special treat, pizza party! My treat!" Jerry picked up Blaze, bringing him back to the courtyard with the rest of us following.

"Where are you going with that turtle?" Rudy asked, carrying a smoothie pitcher and some sample cups.

"This happens to be Ronnie Blaze," Jerry corrected. "He's takin' everyone for pizza."

"Milton, what's your big problem with Ronnie Blaze anyway?" Jack asked, playing with my shoelaces. I was leaning against my chair with my feet propped up on Jack's lap, talking about Milton's problem with the one and only, Ronnie Blaze.
