||WASABI FOREVER||

|CAMI

"Guys, guys! I just got a letter form the World Olympics Gymnastics Academy! It's the best gymnastics academy in the world!" I exclaimed as I ran up to Jack and Milton. "I'm either in or out. I'm so nervous! I can't open it!" Milton grabbed the letter. "I wanna open it!" I snatched it back. I opened the letter, reading it through in my head:

Cami,
We were impressed by your entry routine on the uneven bars, the vault, the floor exercise, and the balance beam. We are happy to conclude that you have been excepted for the last spot on our gymnastics team. You have been given 4 first class tickets to get to our destination in Plano, Texas. The list of items you will need is listed on the second page in this letter.
Yours truly,
          Valeri Liukin

"I got in! I got in!" I squealed, jumping into Jack's arms for a celebratory hug.

"Wow. So you and Jerry are leaving," Milton realized.

"Wait, why is Jerry leaving? I may be his cousin, but I didn't know he was leaving," I asked.

"Well, the Seaford Animal Program is sending him to Kenya for a Seaford research project," Milton answered. "He's gonna live with a family of baboons."

"Oh. Then he'll fit right in," I nodded. We were interrupted by a groan and a stomp on the ground. I looked over to see Jerry stretching, eating a banana.

"Oh yeah. That was a good nap," Jerry sighed.

"Anyway," I looked away from my baboon like cousin, "I've gotta go tell Rudy about the Olympic Academy. It's sad that I have to leave my life of karate behind after devoting so much to it." I jogged inside the dojo to tell Rudy the news. I hope he takes it well.

"Looks like you're all going your separate ways," Rudy choked as he sat on the mats. I was next to Jack on a moved bench, Milton was on the other bench, and Jerry was next to Rudy. "I promised I wouldn't cry."

"Rudy, you've been crying for two days," Jack pointed out.

"You know me so well," Rudy sobbed. "The uh important thing is we'll always be connected by the Wasabi Code. You know what? I'm gonna tell you guys the story of the first Wasabi Warriors and how the code came to be."

"UGH! Rudy, is this gonna be another one of your long winded-" Jerry was cut off by Rudy blowing dust into Jerry's face, making him cough.

"Long ago, on the other side of the world, lived the temple of Wasabi. Where great masters created a peaceful martial arts called the Wasabi Way," Rudy read. "The dragon's eye was a magical stone that shined bright over the village and brought peace to the land. But then, a gang called the Black Dragons, lead by an evil master, invaded the temple and stole the dragon's eye. Darkness fell over the land. The town, Wasabi, lived in fear until a stranger came into the village and changed everything."

"Heyoooo!" Phil and the employees greeted as someone entered the restaurant. I was sipping my tea peacefully, trying to calm myself down. I live a rough life at the temple, so when I have a chance to get away, I take it.

"Hey! Where is my sushi? I've been waiting for half an hour!" a teen boy exclaimed, walking up to Phil.

"You have to be very careful when you're working with the blue tailed porcupine fish. They have shooting quills that contain venom," Phil explained before being quilled. "The venom works instantly eeeeeeee." Phil passed out as I folded up my fan. As I did, someone else entered the restaurant. "Ahaha!" He seemed quite cute, so I decided to get his attention by dropping my fan.
