"Aw man, I'll tell ya. Temple-sitting is the life. Just look at that view," Jack sighed as me, him, Rudy, Jerry, and Milton sat around in chairs with lemonade, watching the TV.
"That is 3D high def surround sound with quadratronic woofers, baby," Rudy agreed.
"Jack, we need to go get our tickets for the movie tomorrow before they sell out," I suggested.
"Aw sweet. I'm in," Jerry agreed.
"Fine. But there's gonna be a lot of kissing and cuddling and-"
"-I'm out," Jerry shuddered.
"That's what I thought," I nodded before walking out of the temple with Jack.
"Did you really have to say that?" Jack asked.
"Well, we don't have to do any of those things," I shrugged.
"That's not what I meant," Jack quickly responded.
"It was the only way we'd be able to go alone. You know Jerry. Unless there's something mushy, he's gonna be persistent," I reminded him, getting into the car with him.

"That movie was pathetic. How stupid do the producers think we are? We know he didn't stop the German War with his ballet shoes," I scoffed.
"Put down your weapons, guys, and watch me dance," Jack mocked making me laugh. "Let's go get some frozen yogurt."
"That frozen yogurt guy, Carl, is colder than his yogurt," I groaned. "He hates everyone." We approached the cart, greeted with the usual scowl.
"Cami," he grumbled.
"Carl," I mimicked.
"Hey. How you doin' Carl? I'm Jack. Can I get a raspberry ginger?" Jack asked politely.
"You got it Jack. On the house," Carl smiled. Like a genuine smile.
"Aw thanks man," Jack took the yogurt.
"Ok. Um I'll take a-"
"-We're closed," Carl closed his cart shut before rolling away.
"I don't get! How does everybody love you?" I asked in disbelief.
"It's called the Jack Factor. It's charm, charisma, and all this," Jack gestured to his face.
"Oh yeah. I forgot. Only close friends get to see your cocky side," I pursed my lips. "Anyway, now that everyone knows we're going out my dad wants to meet you. He's really hard on all the guys I've gone out with, which is like one thanks to Jerry, and I don't really know if he'll like you."
"Parents love me. It's part of the Jack Factor," Jack assured making me roll my eyes.
"The Jack Factor? I thought you were kidding," I sighed making him shrug with a hotdog in his hand. "Where did that come from?" Jack looked over his shoulder to see the hotdog man winking at Jack. "Ok. Maybe I underestimated this whole Jack Factor thing." I grabbed Jack's hotdog, despite him not wanting to give it up. Hey. He got free frozen yogurt. I want something to eat too.

"Hey guys," Jack greeted as he approached me and my dad in Falafel Phil's.
"Oh hey Jack. Jack this is my dad and dad this is my....Jack," I weirdly said. I was gonna say boyfriend, but I didn't know what reaction I'd get if I did.
