||DUDE, WHERE'S MY SWORD?||

"Kim?" I called into the girls' locker room.
"Cami," she spoke stiffly.
"Why are you angry with me?" I asked desperately. She's my only female best friend.
She heaved a frustrated sigh. "You're hurting me," she groaned.
"What are you talking about?"
"You and Jack like each other, but you're both too oblivious it's concerning! And it's painful to watch!" Kim elaborated. "And when you said yes to the date Kyle offered and Jack's falling face and his tense body, it's just a sad love story!" she rambled.
"If it makes you feel any better, I'm not dating Kyle," I tried.
"I feel much better now," she nodded.
"You are so weird," I sighed, following her out to the main dojo space. We both took a seat on the bench next to Jerry and Milton, who was cleaning the trophies as Jack performed this amazing bow staff routine. Eddie was watching from the bench near the lockers in awe."That was amazing Jack! You need to teach me that routine," I praised.
"Sure," he shrugged, tossing me the bow staff. I got up, lazily playing around with it as we all conversed.
"Wow, Jack," Eddie sighed in amazement. "Your new bow staff routine is awesome."
"Thanks man," Jack and Eddie shared a fist bump.
"You know what I say about bow staffs?" Jerry asked walking up to me, taking the bow staff. "Bow-ring," he sang. "Swords. That's where it's at bro." Jerry started swinging the bow staff as if it was a sword for fencing.
"Jerry, that's not how you would perform with a katana. That's how you would, poorly, fight in a fencing match," I deadpanned. "You don't know how to use a sword."
"I've been practicing with the attachments on my mom's vacuum cleaner. In one move I can whack the ceiling fan down and suck the curtains off the wall," Jerry bragged.
"When I was 7 I was able take out 6 ninjas and 1 sensei. Although, at the time, I didn't know how to use a katana. There was a lot of paperwork," I shuddered, remembering when Sensei Choi had put me in the middle of a ninja circle. I slammed all the ninjas into a wall and accidentally gave Sensei Choi a concussion. Not one of my best moments.
"Anyway," Milton dragged out, taking me out of my thoughts. "That katana sword that Rudy loves so much is sitting right there."
"Yeah. Give it a shot Jerry," Kim smirked. I've been begging to use that katana since I step foot in this dojo, but Rudy refused. If he sees Jerry with it, I'll have to go shopping for funeral flowers.
"Uhh. Uh uh yeah. I'll uh I'll give it a shot," Jerry reluctantly agreed. "I don't know if this thing is as well balanced as my mom's vacuum cleaner and there's no brush on the end of it, but uh I'll give it a shot."
"Hey Jerry," Rudy greeted, making Jerry scream as his arms remained reached out. "Whatcha doin'?"
"Uh airing out the pits," Jerry improvised.
"Well let me be clear, no one touches my katana!" Rudy spoke loudly making me groan loudly. "Oh stop groaning. You'd probably break it if I let you use it!"
"Well we'll never know that unless you let me try it, now will we?" I snapped.
"You can use a katana?" Jack asked in an impressed tone.
"I can do a couple routines with it," I shrugged before a wail erupted from Rudy's office as an extremely upset Bobby came into the main dojo space.
