One month later (december)

Wow Joshua and Ivy have lasted for a month. A whole month. I just wanna drown in my sleep. I hate that Ivy now thinks that she's apart of our little group. Me and Joshua are bestfriend not me Joshua and Ivy.

"So I was thinking, Ashley, we should get our hair and nails done before the winter dance. Three more days." Ivy says

"No thank-you I'm not going." I said

"What?" Joahua and Ivy both says

"Ash, you should still go to the dance even if you don't have a date." Josh says.

"You don't have a date? Oh I could totally hook you up. I know this cute single and looking guy. His name is Nathan. And Joshy has already met him." Ivy tels me.

"Oh yea he seems great. He has dark black hair, sorta emo but he has emotion, possibly a 6pack, hangs out with the jock's and cheerleaders, and He has small gages in his ears. He's really a really nice guy." Josh tells me.

"Oh. Ok. But I want to meet him before the dance. " I said. Great they're trying to gt rid of me by getting me a boyfriend. I guess i'll have to just move on and go with it.

"Yea, matter of fact here he comes." Ivy says  "Nathan! Hey I want you to meet Ashley. Ashley this is Nathan."  Ivy says

"Hello." Nathan says

"Hi." I said

"Oooo. I can see the love already." Josh says

"Oo me too, we should go." Ivy says then they go and walk to class together.

"I'm sorry. They just wanted me to get a date to the winter dance with." I said

"Yea I figured. You're in luck because I don't have a date and I'd love to be seen with you." Nathan tells me.

"Really. Well no offense but I'd like to get to know the person I'm bout to go to a big school event with." I said

"Yea me too. So, how about after school we meet at the door and we do something together, like go out or I'll walk you home or get something to eat." Nathan says and it made me smile and blush a little.

"Yea ok. I'd like that. Now I have to go to class I'm already late." I said

"Let me walk you. I'm late anyway so I don't mind." He says

"Yea sure whatever. I got Calculus." I said

"Well then let's go." He says as he pusts his hand out for me to hold it.

"Don't you think it's too eary in the realationship to hold hands?" I asked

"I think we can take a pass for today." He says then he held his hand out again and I hold it.

After school--------------  

I walk down the hallway and see that Nathan was just waiting at the door.

"You're late for our first date. Not a good reputation." He says.

"I know I'm sorry one of the teachers gave my whole class a detention. But thanks for waiting for me." I said

"Well what kind of boyfriend would I be if I just left you?" He asked

"Boyfriend?" I asked

"Yea because I can see us in the future and we'll be holding hands and making out." He says

"Really well than, let's go boyfriend." I said we held hands and walked out the school

As we were walking we had the best coversations. They were meaningful and funny and intense. It was great. He's great.

"So.. After highschool, where do you plan on being or going?" Nathan asked.

"I don't know. Maybe I'll be going to college. Or I'll go and do theater or drama. Do they have that?" I  asked

"I'm pretty sure they do." He says then there was a long pause because he was just starring at me and I was trying not to stare back.

"What?" I said.

"You are so beautiful." He says then he kisses me. I didn't know what to do or say. Should I pull him away or pull him closer. All I did was stand there and get kissed. Then he finally puled away and continued walking. "So are you gonna say something or just walk?" He asked

"Just walk. For now." I said I didn't even know if I should do that.

"Ok......." He says ten there was a long silence

"It was great." I said.

"What?" He asked

"The kiss. It was great." I said trying not to blush.

"Thank-you. I tried my best to impress you." He says

"So this is my house." I said

"Oh. Well I had fun walking you home." He says

"Yea me too." I said. Then he leaned in and kissed me again. But this time I wrapped my hands around his neck.  "We should do this again. Or do something else. Tonight?" He asked

"Yea we should. Sure. Tonight." I said then he gave me a kiss on my cheek and walked away. This date was surprisingly good. It was better than good it was great.  I walked into my house and there my mother was waiting for me.

"Who was that??" My mother asked as she looked at me weirdly.

"No one. Just some guy." I said

"Just some guy huh. You kiss every guy like that?" She asked.

"Mom!!" I said

"What! I'm just saying. He's pretty cute." SHe tells me

"Ok that's enough I'm going to my room." i said.

"Fine. I'll stop. But what do you want for dinner?" SHe asked

"Burger. i don't care." Then I ran upstairs

"But I thought you were a vegaterine."Mom says

"For like a week the I realized I can't survive without meat so here we are having bburgers for dinner." I tell her

"Ok..." Mom says then my phone started ringing. It was Josh. 

On the phone.

Me: Hey Josh.

Josh: What's up. So how did things with Nathan go?

Me: Is than any of your business?

Josh: I guess not.

Me: I was joking. It went surprisingly well. Great actually.

Josh: Good. I'm gld that you're happy with him. So you wont be mad if I tell you this.

Me:Tell me what.

Josh: I gave Nathan your number and he's about to call you in like 5 seconds.

Me: Josh! Why! What is wrong with you! What the Fu-Hello (I said as I answered the phone)

Nathan: Hey It's me Nathan.

Me: Oh hey. How did you get my number?

Nathan: Joshua gave it to me. So. I was hoping we could go to the prom together. Only if you wanted to.

Me:(Trying not to blush) Yea sure. I'd love to.

Nathan:Great so i'll pick you up around like 8:30.

Me:Sounds good.

Nathan:Yea. But I gotta go. My mother's being a nag of mom. So I'll talk to you later.

Me:Yea sure. bye.

As soon as we hung up I screamed of excitement. I got a date!
