"Hey Ash. How you feeling?" My mom said as she came into my room. 

"Ok. Alittle sick. Worried. Mom after II tell you what I'm going to tell you please don't kill me or any man in the world." I said

"Ok. You already told me about what he did to you so what could be worst?" She asked

"Me being pregnant?" I said.

"But you're not, right? You can't be. Right?" Mom asked. It pained me so much to say what I was about to say.

"I'm late." I said as I started to cry alittle.

"Like late for school, late for an assignment? Because I know you don't mean late as in for your period." Mom says. Which made it worst. I said nothing I just sat there and cried. "Ok. you wont be cgoing to school today. You're gonna stay here. I'll buy a pregnancy test when I get back from work. But until then you relax." Mom says. Then she kisses my forehead and walks out my room.

"Mom? If I am, you know, please don't hate me. I already hate myself for letting what happened to me happen and I don't need my own mother hating me." I said as I was crying.

"Oh honey, I could never ever hate you. And you shouldn't hate yourself, it wasn't your fault!" She says as she hugges me. Then she let's go and goes into her room. Suddenly I got a phone call.

On the phone

Me: Hello?

Unknown: Hey babe it's me. Nathan, so I was wondering if you wanted me to pick you up today.

Me: No. I'm sick with a contagious virus so I'm staying home today. And stop talking to me!

Nathan: Did we breakup or something?

Me: Breakup? Break up!!? You raped me! I don't ever wanna talk to you again. I don't even wanna see or hear you! ( I hungup) 

"Who was that? Was that him!?" Mom asked

"Yea it was but don't worry I'm fine." I said.

"So you gonna get up and do something or stay in your bed all day long." Mom said

"I'm gonna go for the second choice. Mom if I'm pregnant I need my rest!" I said

"Don't you dare use that to your advantage. Anyway I gotta go to work. See you later." Mom says. Then I walk her downstairs. "I'll be home around 6-ish so you'll have to wait and be patient." Mom says. Then I kissed and hugged her goodbye and she left. I suddenly felt unsafe so I locked all the doors and windows. Suddenly my phone rang. It scared me because it was so quiet in the house at first. It was Josh again

on the phone.

Me: Hey.

Josh:Hey. Did you do that science homework because I didn't do it and neither did Ivy.

Me: No, I'm not coming to school today. Its something important.

Josh: Anything I should know? ( That question made nervous.)

Me:... Um, I would tell you, but it would hurt to much so no you don't need to know.

Josh: Ok but like I said before you never missed a day of school. So why the change?

Me: I'm going through so hard changes in my life. So I just need time to breathe and relax.

Josh: You sure you don't wanna talk about it?
