36. Meeting some party plans

Both Nora and I were a little confused to why Minty wanted to talk to Marzia upstairs. Maybe she wanted to show Marzia her clothes or something, they are both girls. Nora and I were left downstairs looking confused at each other.
"Come this way Felix, we can get a drink." Nora eventually said to me and I eventually nodded and followed.

She made a cup of tea for us both each and I stood near the counter.
"We need to make some plans for that party, you know that idea of Billy's was great." Nora said as she poured hot water into a cup. I tried not to clench my fist at his name. Yes, it was a good idea but he is a boy and Minty is a girl. I worry about her because she's so young. Marzia seems to like Billy but as Minty's future father I want to protect her.

"Yeah..." I replied looking down.
"So have you and Marzia thought of any baby names?" Nora asked and I shook my head.
"Well don't you think you should?" Nora said and I chuckled.
"It would be a good idea." I said then had a thought. Nora looked at me with a raised eyebrow as if to say, yes it is. Nora then made the teas and handed me a cup which I thanked her for.

"So, what do you think of Billy?" She asked right as I began to drink. When she mentioned his name I coughed and spat my drink back up into the cup.
"Emm," I began wiping my mouth on the back of my hand.
"Well, err." I began trying to think of an excuse. Nora smiled mischievously.
"You don't like him do you?" She said and I shook my head sighing in defeat.

"It's because he's a boy and Minty's your daughter isn't she?" Nora asked me drinking her tea and I nodded drinking my own.
"Minty's too young for boys and if that kid does hurt her I won't hesitate to become a murderer." I said finishing my tea. Nora burst into laughter putting her empty cup in the sink.
"Don't be coming here for help with that!" She called walking into the living room. I chuckled putting my empty cup in the sink with hers then followed Nora into the living room.

Strangely enough, Nora reminded me of my own mum. She had a kind smile, she was always warm towards people, she was funny and she was hard working. I'm sure that my mum would love Minty and mine and Marzia's baby as well. Nora and I sat down on the couch and armchair and she put on some old fashioned reading glasses. She also picked up a notepad and a pen before looking up over her glasses at me.

"So Felix, we need to make some plans for Minty's leaving party." She began and I nodded moving my body on the couch so I could focus on her. She clicked her pen before she started talking again.
"We can have the party here in the orphanage. It's big enough and we can jazz it up with some decorations." Nora said and I nodded.
"Me and Marzia can pay and collect the decorations and we can pay for the food of you want as well." I said and Nora shook her head while finishing writing.

"I know what Minty likes to eat, I'll get the food." Nora argued and I frowned.
"But she's going to be our daughter Nora me and Marzia should pay for the food-"
"Not while Minty is living under this roof!" Nora cut me off waggling her pen at me. I gulped and looked down.
"Shouldn't Marzia and I need to know what food Minty likes?" I bravely challenge and Nora looked at me with a serious expression that made her look like an angry head mistress at a strict primary school.

"Good point she eventually said." She replied writing something else down and I smiled a little in almost victory.
"So who are we going to invite?" Nora asked and I thought for a minute before replying.
"Minty's closest friends from school, Billy, and his family who else?" I asked looking at Nora who was also thinking.
"Everyone living in the orphanage will be there. Maybe we could invite her bus driver Mack. He's got a soft spot for Minty and he's known her since she was seven." Nora said and I nodded.

She then scribbled a little bit more down and looked up at me again.
"Maybe, we should invite Minty's birth dad?" Nora asked nervously and I nearly gulped at the idea. I can't imagine anyone else but me being Minty's dad. It's almost alien. I'll admit I was a little panicked that Minty would have maybe gone to live with him when he sent his secretary (that Marzia claimed was probably sleeping with him because she looked like that kind of secretary) came to take her away. But, he is her birth dad and she should get to meet him at least once in her life.

"Actually, as crazy as this is, your right." I said and Nora looked up at me in pure surprise.
"Really?" What about Marzia?" She asked and I looked down.
"Marzia and I have talked about Minty's birth dad before. And he did make the effort to try and be a dad to Minty. Both Marzia and I have said that Minty and her birth dad deserve to meet each other at least once." I replied honestly.

Nora nodded understandingly before writing another thing down.
"So, that's the start of the party plans done. We just need to talk to Marzia about it and then get some things together between the three of us." Nora said and I nodded. I hope that Minty will love the party.

Hey superheroes! Here's another update for adopted by Pewdiepie and Cutiepie! Quick story, recently Felix and Marzia went on a trip to New York. :D I fangirled so much and I watched both the vlogs they did of the trip. Sadly they didn't meet a little ginger girl in Central Park, but I was excited when they went because it's kind of big that this fanfiction story starts of in New York and that they went to New York. HOW COOL WOULD IT HAVE BEEN IF THEY DID ME A LITTLE GINGER GIRL IN CENTRAL PARK THOUGH! Meh...okay, now that I have that out of me, I hope you have liked this update!
