50. Meeting the truth about my birth dad

My birth dad sighed and everyone watched as he took out his iPhone to answer it.
"Hello?" He said down it.
"RICHARD HENSON!" A high pitched voice yelled down the phone. He jerked his phone away from his ear at the loudness of it. It was on loudspeaker.
"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU AND YOUR BRAT OF A DAUGHTER?! YOU NEED TO HURRY UP AND GET HER TO COME WITH US OR WE WON'T BE ABLE TO GO LIVE IN SPAIN! YOU KNOW WE WON'T BE ABLE TO MANAGE WITHOUT THE FINANCIAL BENEFITS!" The voice yelled down the speaker.

People gasped at the words it said and my eyes went wide as my birth dad looked nervously from me to Felix and Marzia then to the ground.
"I'll have to call you back Sandra." He said and I heard Marzia gasp as well.
"I knew she was a tramp!" Marzia yelled angrily pointing a finger to him. Felix put his hand on her shoulder getting her to stop but he still glared at my birth dad angrily. My birth dad put his phone away and took rapid steps to me but Felix put his arm on front of me moving both me and Billy backwards.

"Luna please let me explain." My birth dad begged but I shook my head.
"No, I know perfectly well what you had in mind." I said and he sighed.
"No Luna I do care for you." He said trying to touch my face.
"You stay away from her!" Mack's voice said and people cheered a little in agreement. As he yelled at my birth dad Felix moved me again behind his back.
"Billy, take Minty away." Marzia told Billy who nodded but I didn't want to be hidden away like a baby from him.

"No, I want to stay." I said to Marzia and moved away from Billy and Felix to look up at the man before me, who was sadly my birth dad.
"You know when you came here I thought you'd be nice. I thought you were cared for me a little and wanted me to be happy. But you don't at all." I began and he looked down in shame. So he should, but I wasn't finished. I'm, mad. Yes, mad at him!

"You also no different now then you were with my mom. Your wife and her kids your going to abandon for something better. You'd probably abandon Sandra somewhere if she had your baby as well. But your not going to use me. You abandoned me and my birth mom before I was born." I continued bitterly stepping towards him and he stepped back. People around him were looking at him in disgust. I was still not finished.

"I wish you weren't my birth dad. And I wish you didn't come here." I finished but he just looked down at me.
"Yes." He said then putting his glass down he walked to Felix and Marzia.
"I'll not come near her again. She's yours." He said and left. After he did people started to continue with the party and I felt Billy hug me.
"That was the coolest thing I've ever seen." He said and I laughed. I wasn't feeling happy on the inside though. I was feeling down.

"Thanks." I said as he pulled away.
"Minty." Felix's voice said and I turned to see him crouched at my side. "Are you okay?" He asked and I nodded.
"I'm okay." I said quietly. Felix smiled at me and I looked up to see that Marzia was pursing her lips with a look that told me she knew I was sad.
"You don't look happy." Marzia said and I looked away from her.
"I think I know what will make her happier." Nora said to Marzia grinning. We watched as Nora walked into the kitchen. Marzia was grinning and Felix had a grin on his face as well.

This story has been moving on a lot recently and the drama has been getting real with Minty's birth dad, but he is gone now. (Minty told him.)
