37. Meeting an excited little girl

After Nora made a few more plans, that made it almost law that Marzia and I would meet Nora at the local supermarket and we get everything for the party, Marzia came back downstairs holding the hand of Minty who had a bright happy smile on her little face.
"Hey Minty." Nora smiled as Minty dashed over to her and tackled Nora into a hug.

"Marzia's gonna have a baby Nora, I'm gonna be a sibling! A real sibling!" Minty nearly yelled as she was hugged back by Nora.
"I know, are you looking forward to be a big sister?" Nora asked and Minty pulled away nodding.
"I'll always tell my little brother or sister the truth and that he it she should be themselves and nothing else!" Minty stated with a determined look on her face.

Nora chuckled and patted Minty on the cheek.
"You do that sweetheart." Nora said with a warm smile.
"I think we should be heading off." I said getting up from my seat. Marzia nodded walking over to Minty who was already holding up her arms to be hugged.
"See you soon Minty." Marzia whispered as she hugged Minty tightly.

Minty nodded and said bye then she turned to me. I crouched to her level then opened up my arms for her to hug me. She ran at me and then nearly tackled me into a tight hug. I chuckled and put my chin on the top of her head.
"Sleep tight Minty." I said to her and she giggled and pulled away.
"Don't stay up late playing Amnesia or slender Pewdiepie." She said and I laughed ruffling her hair. I stood up and looked at Nora who still had her warm smile on.

"See you soon Nora." I said wailing into the hall to get mine and Marzia's coats. I heard Marzia's voice from the living room.
"Bye Nora." Marzia's voice said.
"See you both soon." Nora said getting up. She then started to walk to the kitchen. "I need to get the tea started, Minty'll see you out." she said and Minty smiled and nodded.
"Are you going to come back later?" Minty asked hopefully as Marzia and I pulled on our jackets.

"I'm afraid not Minty. We need to get some stuff for you new room sorted out and ready to be delivered when we go back to Brighton with you." Marzia said sadly but Minty nodded understandingly.
"You'll see us tomorrow." I said and she grinned.
"If, that is if Nora lets me, do you maybe want to play a few games online with me?" She asked almost nervously. I smiled and nodded at her.

"That would be fun. Maybe we can make a gamer girl of you." I said and all three of us laughed.
"No, with that unique sense of style and that happy and curious personality she's going to be a vlogger." Marzia said gesturing to Minty's clothes. She wore a purple t-shirt with a unicorn in a fedora on the front, blue jeans and some green laced up converse boots that went up her knees. Her ginger hair was in small plats and she had a silver necklace that had a skull made out of silver around the chain. Hmm, put some headphones on her and she could be both.

"I'll have to think about that." Minty said shyly and both Marzia and I laughed at her shyness. We then started to walk to the door together and Minty opened the front door for us.
"See you guys!" Minty called as we walked down the steps from her front door. Marzia waved at her and I called a taxi. We both clambered in and the driver sped off to our destination, which was fifth avenue. More shopping for Marzia and me.
