45. Meeting party preparations

~Minty~

After school had finished I walked home with my friends. All my friends, not just Billy. Daisy's parents and Alex's parents let them walk home with me because it would be the last time I walk home. We were all going back to the orphanage to hang out together before I go out with Marzia and Felix. Daisy and Alex walked at the side of each other talking, but Billy and held hands and I'll admit, I'll miss the feeling of warmth from his hand, but I promised to Skype with him at least once a week and I'd talk to Alex and Daisy over text and call as well.

"Hey kids!" Nora called from the doorstep of the orphanage.
"Hi Nora!" We all called waving. Nora shot us all a big smile as we walked into the hall way to dump our bags and take off our coats. I looked to see that Nora was stood directly in front of the door with an even bigger smile on her face, that looked a little force almost. I shot her back a small smile before I walked to the door with my friends behind me.
"Hey Minty where ya going?" Nora asked quickly tilting her head.

"Into the living room?" I replied stating the obvious with a raised eyebrow. She laughed a little nervously then scratched her cheek.
"Emm, Marzia and Felix called and their going to pick you up early because they want to take you out to meet some of their friends." Nora told me and I frowned.
"When do they come over?" I asked her with my shoulders a little drooped.

"In about, 30 minutes." Nora said diverting her eyes to the door when there was a loud noise, that sounded like a bark almost, from the other side of it.
"Go get ready Minty, quick." Nora gushed flapping her hand to go upstairs. I nodded then started to walk upstairs.
"We'll wait for you Minty." Billy said looking up at me and all three of my friends shot me smiles. I smiled back then carried on upstairs.

I kept the smile on my face as Minty walked up the stairs slowly. When we were sure she was gone I opened the door to the living room quickly then beckoned to Billy, Alex and Daisy to go in.
"Quick, we need all the help we can get kids." I said quickly as the kids ran into the living room. I closed the door behind me and then locked it.

"Kids, you go and help finish decorate then get ready." I told tme and they nodded and went to help Felix and Mack who were decorating the living room with green streamers, balloons and banners. We also had some neighbours over helping and I was working the kitchen cooking with Billy's mom. She was out of the hospital now and she and Billy's sisters all were coming to the party. After about 10 minutes the living room was fully decorated. Now everyone was starting to arrive.

~Billy~

Some neighbours of Minty's were now arriving in nice clothes. Alex's family and Daisy's family arrived a well. They got Daisy and Alex some nice clothes to change into, although why Alex needed a change of clothes I don't know because he always looks smart. Hopefully I'll look smart for Minty as well. My sisters Hayley and Talulah arrived wearing some nice dresses and when I saw them I gave the both tight hugs.

"Do you have my things?" I asked quickly and Talulah nodded presenting me with a bag.
"And Minty's gift?" I asked and Hayley frowned playfully.
"I thought you were her gift?" He asked and I tutted rolling my eyes.
"The gift I give her will be something for her to remember me by." I told her and she smiled.
"I'm just joking little bro." She said and I smiled.

"Okay then, thanks I'm gonna get ready." I said and they both nodded. I walked towards the small, and slightly run down, bathroom that came off the kitchen to get changed. I know that Minty will look really pretty went she comes downstairs in a dress. She always looks pretty to me anyway. I also hope she thinks I look nice, I'm really hoping she likes me like I like her.

Hey superheroes! So sorry I haven't updated in a while! My internet has been acting up and this part actually got deleted but re-appeared again. Weird I know. But I knew I needed to update because, we got over 10, thousand reads! O.M.F.G! I nearly actually cried when I found out I was that happy!

When my other story, the other half of me, got over 10,000 reads I was in shock. I never ever thought any of my other stories would get over 10,000 reads, but you superheroes have proved me wrong!
