84. Meeting the school gate

Minty walked merrily down the road while she held Marzia's hand with her small one. Her little brown puppy was trotting along next to her with Puga chan strolling next to Marzia. I still couldn't get my head around that Minty was starting her new school already. Soon she'd be off to high
school, which meant growing up, which meant the teenaged years were on the way, which meant boys, which meant bad. I was still unsure about her being with Billy, like any father would be, but I would be a nervous wreck if she started to date bad boys with motorcycles that smoked and skipped school and got drunk and had tattoos. I wasn't gonna let that happen to my little girl! Wait, maybe I'm being stupid.

Minty is only young and she's smart as well. Really smart. And as much as I worry about him breaking her heart I know that Billy will always love her, and that she'll love Billy. Worrying it part of job description of being a dad I suppose.
"Is that my school?" Minty asked as we turned the corner down the street that had her school on it.
"Well there are kids going into it and it has the big sign 'Kingsway primary school' outside it." I began a little sarcastically pointing at the sign at the entrance to the school.
"Does that answer your question Minty?" Marzia finished for me and Minty gave her a raised eyebrow look that made both me and her mom laugh.

"Okay, little miss sassy." Marzia stated then kneeled to Minty's level. She tugged at her coat making sure it was straight and made sure Minty's face was clean.
"You gonna be okay here?" Marzia asked holding Minty's little face in her hands. Minty nodded then smiled telling her she'd be okay.
"Say goodbye to the pugs Minty." I said to Minty after a few seconds of her smiling at her mom.
"Okay." She replied then handed me her dog's leash. Then she crouched to quickly pet Puga, receive a small face lick from Edgar and gave Peanuts a little cuddle.
"I'll see you when I get home guys, so behave for mom and dad okay?" Minty almost ordered the dogs, but the only response she got was a bark from Edgar.

"You behave for your new teachers alright?" Marzia said seriously while giving her the classic serious mom face that Minty responded to with a nodded and a serious face, that secretly looked adorable to me. Man, she's gonna have me wrapped around her finger. But maybe already does.
"Good girl." Marzia said then pulled Minty into a tight hug. Minty hugged her back and snuggled her little head into the crook of Marzia's neck getting lost in her mother's brown hair.
"You do us proud Minty Kjellburg!" Marzia exclaimed almost dramatically, but adorably like her daughter, then Minty nodded and pulled away to look up at me. I smiled down at my daughter proudly like her mom was.

"Come here Mintypie." I said opening my arms and crouched down to be met by her flinging her little arms around me. I hugged her rubbing her back and saw Marzia smile down at us like we were a cute husky dog and his puppy. Well, we probably were like that if not cuter.
"Have a great day kid." I said into her ear and she thanked me and said she would then pulled away.
"Where do I go?" She asked us tilting her head slightly.
"Go to reception and ask for Mrs Peterson. She'll take you to your class room, unless, you want us to come with you?" Marzia gushed her question but Minty shook her head.

"I think I'm big enough mom." Minty replied confidently and Marzia nodded.
"Okay, but your not big enough to ride the bus alone yet!" Marzia said pointing a finger and made a serious face that made Minty giggled.
"Okay, okay. I'll see you guys after school?" Minty asked taking a step back from us.
"Yeah, we'll be here to take you home." Marzia replied and waved.
"Have a good day Minty!" I called and waved as well. Minty smiled at us and waved back then turned to cross the road carefully. I wrapped an arm around Marzia shoulders pulling her close to me while we watched our little girl cross the road to school.

"Watch the road!" Marzia called to Minty and I rubbed her shoulder sensing from her voice she was nervous.
"She is, she was born in New York remember she knows road safety." I pointed out, sounding a little nervous myself.
"I know but the roads here in Brighton are different to the ones in New York." Marzia replied still nervous while she watched Minty walk with her ginger haired head held high to the gate.
"But they are safer. She's safer here with us as well and she'll be safe at this school." I said hopefully and Marzia sighed then nodded agreeing.

"I know, I'm just a worry pot." Marzia said looking up at me and I smiled at her again.
"It's okay, your her mom. It shows you care Marzia." I said and kissed her forehead.
"Just like I worry about that barrel Billy breaking her heart. He ever does that and I'll break every bone in his body and feed him to Edgar." I said holding up my pug's lead as a gesture to him.
"Felix!" Marzia exclaimed looking down at Edgar then back up at me with wide eyes.
"That's mean!" She exclaimed.
"Your right, it wouldn't be far on Edgar." I said and she tutted rolling her eyes.
"No I meant its mean to Billy." She began giving me the same serious look she gave Minty before.

"You know that he is good boy and loves Minty to bits so if you say another thing like that about him again you'll be in the dog house Felix Kjellberg!" She scolded and I looked down ashamed and knowing her words were true.
"Okay...I'm sorry." I said in a bit of a baby voice then pouted like a puppy at her.
"It's okay." She said then kissed my cheek making me smile.
"Come on, let's get home." She said then linked my arm. We turned around together and started the walk home again with the dogs at our feet, strolling along with the heads down and tails not wagging. They would miss their Mintypie as much as we would.

Hey there superheroes! Here's another update for adopted by pewdiepie and cutiepie! I'm sorry this update it short but it's still an update. Also I'm going to London on holiday tomorrow and I won't be back until Sunday and I'm not aloud to bring my iPad so I can't update :( I am excited to go though and when I get back I promise I'll keep working hard for you superheroes!
