"You have to be really careful and quiet when we get in there." You told Lily as you walked down the hallway of the hospital.

She was hurrying down the hall, dragging you and moving as fast as her little feet would carry her. She's bursting with excitement over the arrival of her new little sister, who was just born a little while ago.

"Don't run down the hall! You don't want to bump into any doctors or nurses." You teased as you caught her and managed to get her to slow down. "We're almost there. You just have to be careful with Rosie. She's not feeling all that well because she's really hurting."

"I will," she promised and gave you her crooked smile as you helped her down the rest of the hall and to the room, where the other two members of your little family awaited.

You turned the knob slowly and watched Rosie's head lift when you walked through the door. Lily had been so excited before that you thought you'd have to hold her back now.

But she was sorta frozen in place, staring in awe at the baby that was against Rosé's chest.

"C'mon, honey." You whispered and took her hand into yours to lead her over to the bed.

Rosé was all smiles at the both of you, watching as Lily's eyes grew big and lit up when the baby that was wrapped in her arms came into view.

"You've got a little sister now." You whispered as you rubbed Lily's back softly. "What are you thinking?"

"She's small," Lily whispered as she reached out to touch her little sister, brushing her fingertips along a couple of her hairs. "But cute. I love her already."

"Yeah? We do too." Rosie smiled and asked you to help her scoot over a little and then put Lily on the bed beside her.

Once she was on the bed, she curled up with her head on Rosie's shoulder. The both of them simply stared at the baby, who slept soundly and seemed to be tuckered out already in her thirty minutes of life.

"Wanna hold her?" Rosé asked, turning her head to face Lily, whose eyes went wide and she then grinned happily. "Okay."

"Here, put your arms like this," you instructed and helped her get into the right position before Rosie carefully placed the baby into her arms.

Lily gasped quietly when her little sister opened her eyes and they locked with hers.

"What's her name?" She asked curiously, staring up at the both of you.

"Her name is Molly."

"Molly..." Lily whispered as she gazed at the baby in her arms. "I'm gonna be a good sister, the best sister!" She spoke excitedly and then leaned down to kiss her forehead. "I'll love you to the moon and back." She smiled and your heart melted, knowing that that's what Rosie tells her all the time.

"She's gonna be so loved." You told Rosie as you laid your head on her shoulder while you both marveled over the precious sight.

"Definitely." She said and closed her heavy eyes as you kissed her head.

"Lily? Do you want us to take her?"

"No." She answered you but refused to look away from her little sister. "I'm okay."

"Okay, but if you feel like you need us to, you just let us know." Rosé said, only for Lily to shake her head.

"No. I'm okay. I'm a big girl, big sister now."

You both chuckled and curled up with each other, although carefully so you wouldn't hurt her.

"I don't think she'll ever let go of her," Rosie whispered softly. "I think they're gonna be inseparable."

You gazed back at your little girls with stars in your eyes, knowing that the three of your girls, your little family, were most definitely the greatest things to ever happen to you.
