You walked through the door with a heavy sigh and tried to forget all about the rough day that you had.

And, as if knowing that you needed some big hugs, Lily and Rosie exited the kitchen and came into the living room where you were.

"Mommy!" Lily excitedly cheered.

You knelt on the floor and your smile was big and bright as she threw her arms around your neck and gave you a huge hug.

"Oh, hi, my baby! I missed you so much today." You said as you kissed her head.

"What about me?" Rosé wondered as she tilted her head.

You giggled and stood up with Lily in your arms before walking over to her.

"I missed you too, of course." You grinned and gave her a soft kiss.

"You're just in time. Dinner is done and we were just about to sit down and eat."

"Really? You cooked?"

She nodded with a proud smile as you carried Lily into the kitchen.

Rosie just moved into your place.

It's been a bit of an adjustment as she settles in but she's amazing and you and Lily are so happy to have a new person in your house.

Along with her precious puppy, Hank, too.

Whom Lily is obsessed with.

You set Lily down on the floor and she took her seat at the table, digging into her plate of food again.

"You seem surprised, as if you can't believe I didn't burn the house down or something." Rosie chuckled.

"No, it's not that." You assured her as you gave her another kiss. "I'm just not used to coming home from work to a homecooked meal."

"Well, get used to it, baby. Because when I'm home before you, I'm more than happy to cook. And Lily likes my cooking, right?"

"Yeah!" She answered happily.

Rosie made you a plate before you both sat at the table, where she had a plate of food already.

"This looks amazing. Thank you so much, baby." You said before you began to eat.

You enjoyed every bite you ate.

Rosé was actually a very great cook.

Of course, throughout your relationship, she has cooked for you before.

But it just felt different now, and in a great way.

Once everyone's plate was cleaned, you all got up.

"Thanks again, my love." You said as you put your dish in the sink.

Rosé frowned as she watched Lily do the same.

"Who's doing the dishes tonight?" She asked.

"I thought you were." You said.

"No. I cooked dinner." She spoke as she folded her arms over her chest.

"Yeah and I had a very long day at work and I'm exhausted. I want to spend some time with my daughter and relax for a while."

"Okay. The dishes can wait until you're ready to wash them then." She said.

Lily was at the table with her iPad, her favorite show playing on it.

But she couldn't help but look up as you and Rosie argued.

"Or you could do them."

"I'm not a housewife nor am I a maid. This is your house isn't it?"

"No, it's ours." You corrected. "And I don't treat you like a maid. I don't expect you to do anything so I'm not sure where that's coming from. I just thought, maybe you could do them for me tonight. Just once."

"But I cooked and cared for Lily all day. I'm tired too."

"Oh, come on, Park Chaeyoung! Please!" You whined in frustration.

Rosie was surprised by you using her full name.

You never call her by her full name.

And Lily, who is used to calling her Rosie, was very confused by this.

"Who's Chaeyoung?" She curiously asked.

"I am," Rosé said with a small smile before walking back to the table, where Lily sat. "That's my real name."

"Oh," Lily replied. "Do I call you Chaeyoung then?"

"You can call me whatever you want, okay?" She smiled as she patted her head. "Call me whatever you want. I don't mind whatever it is."

"I like calling you mom," Lily replied. "But your name is cool!"

"Yeah? Do you like it? It's my Korean name. Roseanne is my birth name, so that's why a lot of people call me Rosie."

"Cool!" Lily replied, genuinely interested in Rosie's explanation.

Rosie smiled brightly, finding it adorable how much Lily seemed to love how she had two names, both of them so pretty.

"I'll just call you mom though."

"Can I tell you a secret?"

"What?"

"That's my favorite of all because it comes from you." Rosie smiled before pinching Lily's cheeks, making the little girl giggle.

"I'm sorry." You spoke. "I shouldn't have snapped like that and I shouldn't have assumed you'd do the dishes."

"No, it's fine, baby. I know that you didn't mean it that way." She said as she walked back to you. "How about we do them together and then we all watch a movie together? Would you like that Lily?"

Lily quickly and excitedly nodded.

"Sounds perfect." You grinned and shared a few kisses with your girl before you started on the dishes.

Together.
