"Thank you for making sure she got home safely!" Rosie told your friends as they began to pull out of the driveway.

With her arm wrapped around you securely, you could finally keep your balance, which is something you've struggled with tonight since you're so intoxicated.

"Okay, sweet girl. Let's get you inside." She said as she helped you into the house. "Try and be quiet so we don't wake Lily."

That was easier said than done since you were stumbling and starting to feel sick, causing you to groan about how badly your head pounded and how nauseous you were starting to feel.

"When we get into bed, I'll get you some medicine. It should help you feel better, baby. But Lily was tough to get to sleep tonight so let's try our hardest to not wake her.

Rosie wasn't upset with you being drunk because it's not something you do very often and you never take any risks when you drink.

But you have gotten drunk a few times before and Lily hasn't seen you that way because you're usually not that loud.

Tonight though, you're a little more drunk than usual, and staying quiet doesn't seem so simple.

"Almost there," Rosie said as she helped you up the last few steps.

You drunkenly rambled about your night out, almost tripping over your own two feet as you turned the corner and walked down the hall.

"Y/N, baby, I love you and I know you're never like this but please quiet down. You don't want Lily to see you like this, right?"

But it was too late.

The sound of your voice, just as Rosé assumed, made your daughter's eyes open and in excitement, she got out of bed and opened her bedroom door.

"Mommy?"

Rosie quickly looked over at Lily, whose room was right across from the one you two share, and saw her standing there in confusion.

She was only seven, too young to understand why you weren't yourself and too young to understand what being so drunk was like.

"Mommy, are you okay?" Lily asked with big eyes. "Is mommy sick?"

"Sick? No, honey, she's okay." Rosie promised as she kept her hand on your lower back.

You stopped in your tracks when you saw Lily and despite being so drunk, you were still the assuring and loving mother you always are.

"Mommy's fine." You said. "Go back to sleep. Love you, baby."

Your words were slurred but Lily still understood them and she told you that she loved you too before looking at Rosé.

"Lily, sweetie, go back to sleep. Your mom's okay, I promise. When you wake up in the morning, we'll all have breakfast and she'll be just fine."

"Okay. Love you, momma," Lily mumbled as she went back to her room.

This time, her words were directed towards Rosie since she'd already told you that she loved you.

Lily went back to her room and crawled back under the covers to go back to sleep, excited for the morning.

"That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but if she has questions in the morning, you'll be explaining to her about being drunk," Rosie said as she helped you into the bedroom.

She closed the bedroom door and had you sit on the edge of the bed as you groaned about feeling even sicker than you did a few moments ago.

"I'll help you change out of your outfit and into your pajamas." She said.

As she grabbed them, you got up and rushed into the bathroom to get sick.

Rosie wasn't surprised at all that you were already sick but she did worry that Lily might hear and run in because she worries about you.

So she kept looking between you and the bedroom door for a moment until she knew that Lily was sound asleep and didn't hear you throwing up.

Only then did she go into the bathroom and sit down on the floor behind you, gently grabbing your hair in her hand to hold it back for you.

"Usually, you don't get hit with a hangover until morning. You must've drank much more than usual." She remarked and you just groaned as you finished getting sick.

"I'm fine." You said as you stood up, still a little unsteady on your feet.

So Rosé quickly got up too and after you flushed the toilet, she helped you change and brush your teeth.

"I know you don't get too carried away very often so I'm not upset. But remember that you've got a little girl who doesn't understand you being this drunk."

You laid down in bed, nodding your head knowingly.

"I know." You mumbled. "I'm not that drunk but I won't drink like this again for a while. I just needed a little time to let loose and have fun. I'll be fine in the morning and everything will be good."

She knew you were right so she just laid down beside you.

You seemed a little more like yourself now.

You seemed aware of your surroundings and the things you said, so Rosie felt a little better about the situation.

"Even if I'm hungover, I'll still drag my butt out of bed and spend some time with my girls."

You were still slurring your words slightly and, of course, the alcohol was still coursing through your veins.

She was certain that you'd still be hungover in the morning but she also knew things could be much worse if you were a little different.

Watching you drift off to sleep, she kissed your cheek before getting up to go and check on Lily, just to be safe.

And, thankfully, Lily was sound asleep in her bed with her favorite doll and Rosie breathed out a sigh of relief.

She was happy that all was well and that both of her girls were fast asleep.

She just hoped that Lily wouldn't be too curious about what you looked like tonight and that you wouldn't be too hungover when the sun comes up.
