It took 2 days to get the house cleaned up and get security cameras installed. Steve was taking everything seriously because that night, it was something we wished we would be prepared for. Natalie started sleeping away from the window, had bad dreams about it and it was painful to even see her go through this. Strange had to wipe that part of the memory. It was for the best.

I tossed the files into the shredder, watching them tear Marco Ward's pictures and descriptions up. It felt like a weight was lifted. Natalie comes in, helping me with the papers as I did her hair.

"Who is he?" She looks at the photo of him. I slowly took the paper and shred it.

"A nobody."

"If he's a nobody then why does he have a picture?"

"You do ask a lot of questions." I laughed. Natalie comes up to me, hugging me. "Whats wrong my sweet girl?"

"Do you hate him?"

"We have a bad past. He did bad things to me and I wanted to catch him for good."

"Do you think he'll come back?"

"He might. But, your father and I will be here to protect you and Anthony because I don't want anything to happen to you both like the things he did to me."

"Like what?" I placed my hand on her cheek.

"One day, I'll tell you when you're bigger but now, we have to get you ready for your ballet recital." She skips her way to her room. I finished up in the office. "Steve!" I hollered from upstairs.

"Im fixing the camera now!" He comes to the bottom of the stairs, showing the camera. "I want to leave in the next 10 minutes, I want to get good seats." We went our ways, Steve went back to fixing the camera and I went to get Anthony. He was still sleeping, I saw something strange.

"What the-" I picked him up, his hair was white and brown. It looks natural. I headed downstairs and stood next to Steve. "Look." I showed him Anthony's head. He examines him. As he touched his head, he frowns. "What?"

"Touch him, He's freezing." I touched his cheek.

"He's not sick." He looked happy, no symptoms, nothing. "I swear if this baby has powers..." i sighed to myself. A household full of people having abilities, we're going to have a blast when they're teens.

"Natalie! We're leaving, with or without you!" Steve calls for her.

"Let me do a checkup before we go." I raced upstairs and get a simple check-up. Everything was normal. Nothing was wrong. "He's fine." I told Steve as i met him by the door. Natalie comes down the stairs wearing her outfit and carrying the ballet shoes that Nat got her, she said those are her special ones, her lucky ones. "You ready?"

"Lets go." As Steve pushed us out, running to the car and strapping the kids in, we were gone. I did some finishing touches on my makeup and looked back.

"Natalie, can you check your brother for me? How is he?" She turns her head and looks into the car seat.

"He looks like Anthony." She crossed her eyes and starts playing around. "He's okay." I mean there are no symptoms, he's not crying. Steve pulled up to the theatre and parked. We all got out, Steve having Natalie holding his hand and me with Anthony. The other students were heading backstage and this is where we had to leave her.
