I was finally going to have some alone time after years of this. I put Natalie to bed and went to the kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee.
"Smells good." Nat said as she shuffled her way next to me.
"Coffee." I smiled. I poured her some. She sips it slowly and smiled.
"Only you can make this taste good."
"Oh please." I slowly put the mug against my lips and lets the hot coffee touch my lips. It was good. We sat on the couch, wrapped each other with the same blanket and looked at the night sky.
"I have to leave tonight to Washington." Nat told me.
"You have to talk to the boss, not me."
"Natalie is gonna be so heartbroken when she finds out." Nat looks at me.
"She'll understand. You are doing great thing Natasha." I smiled at her. "You're taking care of orphan kids who lost their parents during the snap." I grabbed her hand.

"I just dont want you to be lonely."
"I got Steve and Natalie. Dont worry about me Nat." She gave me a small smile. "Its okay to leave. Thor left and I haven't spoken to him in years, you're doing amazing things, my dad is living his perfect life, Banner, well, I'm not gonna say anything to that." We both chuckled. "Rhodey is somewhere and me and Steve are here, happy and well Clint-"
"Im still finding him. It just cant-"
"We'll find Clint, dont worry." I assured her.
"Its been so long, I just know somewhere, he is out there." She was crying. Nat crying was very rare, it made me cry. "Im just so tired, im just not-
"You're not you." I finished.
"I thought i can handle this." She was crying.
"You can and you will. You just need time."
"I used to have nothing. And then I got this. This job. This family. And I was... I was better because of it." She wiped her tears away. "And even though... they're gone... Now, I'm still trying to be better." I held her hand tighter. "Maybe i should go home."
"You are home." I placed my hand on her cheek. "Nat, everything will be okay." Steve came around the corner and Nat wiped her tears.
"Time to go, i dont want to interrupt any possible baby making." She winks. I nearly choked on my coffee.
"Thanks Natasha." Steve blushed. He joined me on the couch. "Everything okay?"
"Nat is leaving to Washington tonight, thats all." I told him. Steve gave me a small smile. He took my mug and drank it.
"She told the boss yet? You know how she'll react."
"Ill tell her dont worry."
"Natalie is literally a little Natasha." I nodded my head. I grabbed the mug from him and i saw the coffee making a ripple effect. I looked closely. We both looked up and saw the lights swings. It was coming from the inside.
