I decided to keep the baby a secret. The only people who know are Peter, Wanda, Steve and possibly Nat. It was just a normal day in Wakanda. It was empty, since T'Challa is gone.
"I told the nurse if we can have a scan." And that makes 4 people that know. Steve said to me.
"Okay, what time?" We sat at the table and drink some coffee.
"Around noon?"
"Alright." I took a sip of my coffee. I put my hand on my stomach. A baby. This would definitely change everything. We decided to leave early to see the nurse, Steve just couldnt wait. I actually was too.
"Am I the only person that knows?" The nurse asks as we got a private room.
"Not exactly." I told her. I laid down on a table and she brought in another nurse. I saw the hologram of my stomach. "So?"
"Well, it's healthy. Looks like you're 6 months pregnant." A big sigh came from both of us. "The gender-"
"No!" We both yelled.
"I want it to be a surprise." Steve shyly smiled. Shuri did some more tests. We spent about a good hour there.
"Everything is perfectly fine." Steve talked to the nurse about the baby and i got up from the table. I looked at the hologram. You can see the outline of the baby. I was looking and I held my stomach. It's actually happening.

Me and Steve walked back to where we stayed. Nat came up to us. She definitely knew something was up.
"How was your day?"
"It was beautiful. What about yours?" I asked her.
"Just peachy." She smirked.
"I just gonna see Thor really quick." Steve quickly ran off as Nat and I had a stare-off.
"What do you want to know?" I raised my eyebrow.
"You might be a really good liar, but you really can't keep a secret." She definitely knew. I smiled. "If you wanted it to keep it a secret, try not to talk about it to a man who can't lie." She smiled back. "Congratulations Stark."
"Thank you Romanoff." She pulled me into a big hug.
"You know the gender?"
"It will be a surprise." Nats jaw dropped. "We decided already." I laughed.
"What do you want it to be?" I never really thought about it.
"I really dont know." I chuckled. Nat smiled.
"Can I?" She wanted to touch my stomach. I nodded and she moved her hand around.
"I havent really felt anything besides some sharp pains."
"Oh Crystal." She laughs. "Thats when it kicks." I smiled. "You're gonna be adorable." Nat whispers to my stomach. She grabbed my arm and we began to walk to a room.
"Whats going on?" I asked as we made it in the room. Thor, Rhodey, Bruce, Steve, and Rocket were standing.
"Since you believe we can stop Thanos, bring everyone back, we need to bring everyone back to the band." Bruce suggested. I was gonna say something but I paused. "We need to bring the band together."
"Listen, but why am I-"
"Tony." Rhodey cut me off. I had a lump in my throat when he said my father's name. "We need your dad." I looked at the ground. "We need the Avengers." I took a deep shaky breath.
"You want me to go to New York, talk to my dad, who I haven't spoken to about 4 years now, tell him about Thanos again, and make him come here?"
"That sounds about right." Nat said. I rubbed my eyes.
"how do you know if he didnt vanish? Hm?" I was just making excuses now. "I didnt even see him! What if he is there right now? I didnt get the chance to-." I was gonna start to cry but I stopped myself.
"Hey hey, its okay." Bruce pulled me in for a hug.
"Lets say if Stark is here, ill go." Steve volunteered.
"Tony is still hurt about that day. I dont think he's ready to see you." Rhodey told him. Thor coughs.
"Did i miss something?" We all forgot that Thor wasn't there. Lucky him.
"General Ross put a complain about our missions, so he recommended the Soviet Accords, some of us signed it because of the safety of others and making the government tell us what we can do and not do, such as, Vision, Rhodey, my dad," I looked at Nat. "And Nat. And some of us didn't, due to believing superheroes should remain free to defend humanity without the government telling us what to do, Steve, Sam, Wanda, Clint, and me." I took a minute. "We found out that, Bucky, Steves best friend, killed my grandparents because of Hydra, and my dad might have every right to be pissed, but Bucky was brainwashed." That took me to memory lane. Thor's face was still trying to get the idea.
"Its a big mess." Nat told him.
"Definitely." Thor commented. "I agree with Crystal, what if Tony vanished?"
"How would we know?"
"Stark still has the phone Rogers gave him. He'll call, right?" Nat mentioned. Shes got a point.
"Fine. We'll wait." Everyone walked out. i turned to Thor. Who was nervous and seem like me needed to say something. "What is it, Thor? Youve been weird lately. Ever since i talked about-"
"Death. You dont know her. Loki and I used to hear stories from my father, Death was such an evil person, she almost destroyed the nine realms with just a snap. Death double-crossed my father, almost killing him. I dont think you should trust her Crystal. Its like now you both are best friends. Who knows, she might cross you." He walked out of the room and i looked up to the ceiling. I then walked out of the room and went to my room. I changed clothes. I heard the door closed. "I don't know what to say."
"Let me start. How are you feeling?" Steve stood in front of me. I groaned. My fiancée.
"I saw everyone, steve." I started. "I left everyone! I had to make the stupid deal! I should've checked if my dad was alive!" I teared up. "I left Wanda! I left-" i rubbed my face. "I cant do it." I put my head on his chest. "I cant."
"Dont put this on yourself. You're a Stark."
"The first ever Stark failed." I didnt even look at him. I had my head there. It was so comfortable.
"Crystal, you graduated from college at the age of 17, have 2 Doctorate degrees at the age of 18, and now you said you're a failer?" He had a point.
"Alright." I picked up my head from his chest. "I just left everyone."
"I know. Sometimes you need to sacrifice yourself to save others, including the ones you love." Steve said to me. I shook my nerves off.
"It doesnt feel right." I held his hand. He put a piece of my hair behind my ear.
"They trust you." They did. Even Strange. "Here." Steve took off a necklace from his neck and placed it on my hand. I opened it to see my ring. "It uh, fell off when you, hm, vanished." He put the ring on my finger.
"I love you Steve. Hold on to that, never let that go." I kissed him. My hands made their way to his neck and his hair.
