Secrets

I heard a knock. Ugh! Who can that be now? I had to pause Supernatural and walked to the door.

"Listen little girl stop knocking. I don't want any of your cookies." I looked up. "Dad?"

"Hey Crystal."

"What are you doing here?"

"Here, it's me saying I'm sorry." He handed me a basket of strawberries.

"This is..." 

"Crystal, I'm sorry. There is many things that I haven't told you about. And I want to I swear..."

"Dad, I don't want to talk about this right now. You made a fool out of yourself and me."

"I'm coming later to pick you and Elena up. So give me another chance, please." I looked at his eyes.

"Fine, 7:30, we will be ready." He hugged me.

"I'm sorry." And he left.

"Yeah, you always are." I closed the door and saw Elena standing there.

"Crystal, I want to tell you something."

"Sure." And then she looked at the envelope.

"Did you call this number?"

"Yeah why?"

"I think my parents are calling me, I'll be back." And she grabbed her phone and went around the corner. I heard her mom talking as well. "Hello?"

"Crystal called SHIELD." Her mom said.

"I saw the envelope."

"Your father is still on a mission so, I'll be going pick you up later tonight."

"Mom, what if Crystal gets recruited? Did Fury sign this off?" How does she know Fury?

"I don't know. Maybe Fury is going to talk about it later." Then I hit the table while I was trying to listen. Smooth Crystal.

"Got to go, mom."

"You got your gun?" Gun?!

"Bye mom." I ran to the kitchen. "What happened?" She said.

"Nothing just dropped the vase." I smiled. Is Elena an agent? But that can't be, she's 15. Maybe I should talk to this Fury about it. Maybe I should look more into it. What am I getting into? What is going on? What do they want with me? What's so interesting with me?
