Made it back to the facility. Wanda ran to her room. I wanted to comfort her, but I know she wants her space. I went to my room and took a shower. I put on new clothes, a blue crop top that had a v-neck, black skinny jeans with rips in them, black high boots, and a black leather jacket. I sat down on my bed and started to do my makeup. When I mean that, I mean winged eyeliner and red lips. I looked at the mirror and touched the two necklaces on my chest. The ring Pietro gave me, and the locket that Wanda gave me.

"Just talk to her." I said to myself. I walked myself over to her room. I went in and saw her and Steve. "Hey, Wanda-"I saw Vision come through Wanda's room wall.

"Vis, we talked about this

"Vis, we talked about this." Wanda told Vision. Me and Steve looked at each other shocked. Talked? What else did you guys talk about?

"Yes. But I saw Crystalline come in and so I assumed... Captain Rogers wished to know when Mr. Stark was arriving."

"Thank you. I'll be right down." Steve said.

"I'll... Use the door." Vision said and walked towards me. "Oh, and apparently, he's brought a guest."

"You know who it is?" Steve asked Vision.

"The Secretary of State." I clenched my jaw. Ross.

"Wanda, we'll talk later." I said to her.

"Sure." Me and Vision walked. I was heading to my room but Vision stops me.

"Crystalline, what can you do to win a woman's heart?" I turned around.

"Vis, are you talking about love here?" I questioned.

"I quite remember the talks about you and JARVIS had together. You always talked about a boy named Marco." I clenched my hands as he said that name. His name makes me feel a burning tension, me wanting to pay for what he's done to me. "Crystalline, your hands." I looked down and they were on fire. I closed my eyes they were gone.

"To win this woman's heart, you probably want to-to cook for her, sweet-talk her." I moved my hands around as I talked. "Girls love that."

"Thank you Crystalline." And Vision floated away. I knew what he was talking about. Wanda Maximoff. I smiled to myself because I knew they both liked each other. "Crystalline, I think you need to go this way?" Vision pointed out.

"Right, thanks Vision." I took a deep breath and crossed my arms. I walked towards the room. My dad was there, Nat, Rhodey, and Sam. Later then, Steve and Wanda came in. We all sat down. I sat down on the head of the table, which felt weird for some reason.

"Oh. 5 years ago, I had a heart attack. I
Dropped right on the middle of my batting swing." Ross told all of us his story. I rolled my eyes. "Turned out, it was the best round of my life because after 13 hours of surgery and a triple bypass. I found something 40 years in the army never thought me: perspective. The world owes the Avengers an unpayable debt. You've... Fought for us." He looked at me straight in the eyes. I don't like where this is going. "Protected us. Risked your lives. While a great many people see you as heroes. There are some... Would prefer the word vigilantes."

"And what word would you use, Mr. Secretary?" Nat spoke.

"How about dangerous? What would you call a group of US-based, enhance individuals, who routinely ignore sovereign borders and inflict their will wherever they choose and who, frankly, seem unconcerned about what they leave behind them." Ross stepped aside and showed us your past battles. "New York." I looked at my dad. Memories came punching back at me. "Washington DC." The clip struck me. Elena's thoughts came through.

"Oh god." I whispered. I closed my eyes to stop my tears but they came down anyway. Steve turned to see me and hold my hand and I looked away.

"Sokovia." I bit my lip and look at Wanda. She turned to see me. Her eyes told me that she wanted to cry. "Lagos." Okay, I've had enough. Me and Wanda stood up. "Ms. Stark, Ms. Maximoff, we're not done here." And we sat back down.

"Okay, that's enough." Steve told Ross.

"For the past 4 years, you operated with unlimited power and no supervision. That's an arrangement the governments of the world can no longer tolerate. But I think we have a solution." Ross was handed a book and he handed it to Wanda. From where I sat, I saw the letters, The Sokovia Accords. "The Sokovia Accords. Approved by 117 countries. It states, that the Avengers shall no longer be a private organization. Instead, they'll operate under the supervision of the United Nations Panel, only when and if that Panel deems it necessary."

"The Avengers were formed to make the world a safer place." Steve spoke. "I feel we've done that."

"Tell me, Captain, do you know where Thor and Banner are right now?"

"Thor's at Asgard and Banner is being found at this moment, Sir." I said.

"If I misplaced a couple of 40 megatonne nukes, you can bet there'd be consequences compromise. Reassurance. Thad how the world works. Believe me, this is the middle ground."

"So, there are contingencies." I look up to see who spoke and it was Rhodey.

"3 days from now, the UN meets in Vienna to ratify the Accords." Steve looked at my dad and my dad's head dropped down. "So, talk it over." Ross said his final words and almost walked out of the room. Leaving the 8 of us there.

"And if we come to a decision you don't like?" I spoke up. He turned around.

"Then you retire." He smiled at me and left. I looked out the window and got up.

"I'm sorry." I walked out of the room. The 7 of them followed me to the living room. I sat down and my dad sat down next to me. Then everyone does the same.
