I didnt sleep after that dream. I kept hearing 'its okay' over and over again. I walked around the facility, as Steve was taking a shower. Natalie was getting dressed.
"Look a little lost, Red." I turned around and saw Nat. I ran to her and gave her a hug.
"Damn it Nat, ive missed you."
"Im basically the glue of this team. You guys dont know how to be yourselves when im gone." She laughs. I pulled back.
"What are you doing here? I thought you're gonna be in Washington for another month."
"Well, Rhodey gave me the coordinates of where Clint is."
"Really? Where is he?"
"Toyko." She gave me a smile. "Plus, I decided to come and stop by. Since the team is back together."
"Well, not all of us." She gave me a look. "My dad. Thor." She nodded.
"Aunt Nat!" We turned to see Natalie running into Nats arms. "Oh I missed you so much!"
"I know kiddo. I missed you too." She placed Natalie down. "I was thinking to myself and I remembered something." Natalie giggles. Nat pulls out a pair of ballerina shoes from her bag. "Happy early birthday Natalie."
"What do you say?"
"Thank you so much!" She looks at the shoes. "I love you Aunt Nat."
"I love you too sweetheart." Natalie gives her a hug and runs away.
"Well, ill see you in a few, and hopefully with Clint."
"You be careful okay." We hugged and went our different ways. Bruce came by a few minutes after Nat went, He's here to do the favor of trying time travel.
"Can I watch?" Natalie asked as me and Steve.
"Just sit here okay, dont go anywhere." Steve said as he pulled a chair for her.
"Well hello little human." Bruce said to Natalie.
"Hi uncle Bruce!"
"Dab!" They both said aloud and dab. Oh lord.
"Ready?" I asked.
"Okay, here we go. Time travel test number one. Scott, fire up the, uhh... The van thing." Bruce said. Scott went to turn on the van. "Breakers are set."
"Emergency generators are on standby." I told Bruce as I checked.
"Good. 'Cause if we blow the grid, I don't wanna lose Tiny here in the 1950's." Bruce murmured and pointing at Scott. Natalie giggles.
"Excuse me?" Scott turns around.
"He's kidding." I laughed and looked at Bruce with a 'why did you say that' look. "You can't say things like that." I smiled so Scott wouldn't be freaked out.
