The Struggle

Iron Man 1

"Hey! Ow!" My dad said as he was getting out of the suit.

"It's a tight fit, Sir." JARVIS said. "Sir, the more you struggle the more this is going to hurt."

"Be gentle. This is the first time." My dad told JARVIS. "I designed this to come off, do... Hey!" My dad said. I turned around and saw Pepper.

"Hi Pepper!" I said. She gave me a smile.

"I really should be to able..." He said.

"Please, try not to move, Sir."

"What's going on here?" Pepper asked. Oh, you know Pepps, my dad is acting like a child and doesn't want to take orders from JARVIS.

"Let's face it. This is not the worst thing you've caught me doing." He said. It's true, Trust me.

"Are those bullet holes?" Pepper asked again. Aw! They're having a moment! I knew they like each other. Maybe if my dad has the guts to ask her out, she will be perfect for my mom or something like that. My mom. I looked down thinking about my mom. My mom, all I have from her is a picture. I know that she looking over at me and saying that she was there for me. 

"Maybe I should go." I slipped out before they can say anything. I headed to the kitchen to grab some leftovers and headed to my room. I started on some homework and redid my room since I was bored. I couldn't stop thinking about Marco, so I decided to call him. It was pretty late, but I knew he was still up. 

"Hello?" He answered.

"Marco, hey!" I smiled through the phone. "Hey, listen, I want to apologize from last time. I hope you're not mad. It just that me and my dad, we are finally hanging out again and it's like the first time in years, and I just don't want to miss that." The line stayed silent. "Marco?"

"Yeah, I'm here. Sorry, my brother, Grant he just came into town."

"No worries."

"Don't worry about it. Have fun with your dad." After that, he hung up. I didn't know he had a brother, huh.
