Now, me and Steve are at the mall.

"The first rule of not getting caught is don't run, walk." I told Steve.

"If I run in these shoes, they're gonna fall off." We went to the Apple Store. We walked straight to the laptops.

"The drive had a Level Six homing program, so as soon as we boot up SHIELD will know exactly where we are."

"How much time do we have?"

"Um, about nine minutes from..." I plugged in the flash drive. "Now. Fury was right about that ship. Somebody's trying to hide something. This drive is protected by some sort of Al. It keeps rewriting itself to counter my commands."

"Can you override it?"  Steve said looking over my shoulder.

"The person who developed this is slightly smarter than me. This is impossible because I'm smarter than everyone. Slightly. I'm gonna try running a tracer. This is a program that SHIELD developed to track hostile malware, so if we can't read the file, maybe we can find out where it came from."

"Can I help you guys with anything?" Said a man that works for Apple.  I turned to him and Steve was on my side. Make something up.

"Oh, no. My fiancé was just helping me with some honeymoon destinations." I smiled and gave a kiss on the cheek to Steve. He was surprised by what I did.

"Right, we're getting married." Steve followed. And I went back to the laptop.

"Congratulations. Where are you guys thinking about going?" Steve looked over my shoulder.

"New Jersey."

"Oh. I have the exact same glasses." The guy said to Steve.

"Wow, you two are practically twins." I said.

"Yeah, I wish. If you guys need anything, I've been Aaron." He laughed and walked away.

"Thank you. You said nine minutes. Come on."

"Relax, Rogers. Got it." I looked at him. "You know it?" Steve looked closer.

"I used to. Let's go." He pulled out the drive and we walked out of the store. "Stand tac team. Two behind, two across, and two coming straight at us. If they make us, I'll engage, you hit the south escalator to the metro."

"Shut up and put your arm around me. Laugh at something I said." I told him.

"What?"

"Do it." And he did. I had my head on his shoulder and he had his on top of my head. And we laughed. We got on the escalator. I looked at Rumlow. I turned to Steve. "Kiss me."

"What?"

"Public displays of affection make people very uncomfortable."

"Yes they do." I grabbed his neck and kissed him on the lips, is he using tongue! I pulled away when Rumlow wasn't looking. I turned back. I was shocked, that was my first kiss. Steve Rogers is my first kiss.

"You still uncomfortable?" I walked away.

"It's not exactly the word I would use." I decided to leave Elena's car here at the mall. I called Elena.

"Elena?"

"Crystal! Thank God!"

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Just coming out of Pierce's office. He wanted me to give him some information about you."

"Did you!?"

"Hell no!"

"Elena, listen to me, I have no idea who is behind this, but me and Steve have nothing to do about this or anything."

"Crystal, I'm always on your side no matter what."

"Elena, please be careful."

"You should. Don't worry about me." After hanging up, Steve stole a car and we were on our way to New Jersey. I put my feet on top of the dashboard. I looked at Steve.

"Where did Captain America learn how to steal a car?"

"Nazi Germany. Where did Crystal Stark learn how to kiss like that?"

"Mm... Practice." I smirk.

"And we're borrowing. Take your feet off the dash." And I did.

"Alright, I have a question for you, which you don't have to answer. I feel like, if you don't answer it though, you're kind of answering it, you know."

"What?"

"Was that your first kiss since 1945?"

"That bad, huh?"

"I didn't say that. I mean, who uses tongue like that?"

"Well, it kind of sounds like that's what you're saying but you are saying it."

"No, I didn't. I just wondered how much practice you've had."

"You don't need practice."

"Everybody needs practice."

"It was not my first kiss since 1945. I'm 95, I'm not dead." He looked at me. "Was that your first kiss?" I looked at my hands.

"Yes." I softly said.

"I was your first kiss?"

"Yeah. I just kinda wanted to wait for the right guy you know."

"You had boyfriends right?"

"Yeah, but I was clueless back then. I'm kinda glad you're my first kiss." I looked at Steve. Just his blue eyes, so beautiful. And if you can see at a right angle, there's a hint of green. He looked back at me. We leaned in but Steve served. "Car!" Steve quickly went back to the lane. I caught my breath. I cleared my throat. "Uh, moving on. Nobody special, though?" He chuckled.

"Believe it or not, it's kind of hard to find someone with shared life experience." He glanced at me. "You?"

"It's hard looking to find someone with shared life experience." I repeated. And then I thought of Marco. "But well, that's alright. You just make something up."

"What, like you?"

"I don't know. The truth is a matter of circumstance. It's not all things to all people, all the time. Neither am I." We looked at each other.

"That's a tough way to live."

"It's a good way to die, though."

"You know, it's kind of hard to trust someone, when you don't know who that someone really is."

"Yeah. Who do you want me to be?"

"How about a friend?" I chuckled.

"Well, there's a chance you might be in the wrong business, Steve." Am I flirting? "I can be whatever you want me to be."

"Alright." He just smirked.

"Just try not to fall in love with me, alright?" I joked around.

"Wouldn't dream of it Crystal." He made me happy. He made me feel like I'm the only one in the world. We have arrived. We got out of the car and I pulled out my phone.

"Is this it." Steve said behind me.

"The file came from these coordinates."

"So did I." It turned to night, fast. We walked around the area. "This is the camp I was trained in."

"Change much?" I said looking for a signal.

"A little."

"This is a dead end." I told him. "Zero heat signatures, zero waves, not even radio. Whoever wrote down the file must have used a router to throw people off. What is it?" I looked at Steve. We walked to the building across from us.

"Army regulations forbid storing munitions within 500 yards of the barracks. This building is in the wrong place." He hit the lock with his shield. We entered and we walked downstairs.
