"I'm Director Fury." My eyes widen, The Director Fury? Then I saw what he had in his hands. An envelope that says, Stark, Crystal.

"What can I help you with? Should I get my dad on the phone?" I was about to walk to the phone.

"No need. I'm here to talk to you." Oh boy, what did I do now? I feel like I'm going to the principles office back at school. I let him in and went to the kitchen.

"Want anything to drink?" I asked. I grabbed a bottle of water.

"I'm good." He put his hand up. Okay, this is creeping me out because a guy wear all black and an eyepatch, showing up with a file with my name after I found out that I had powers.

"What can I do for you?" He slid the envelope to me facing it downwards. Once I flipped it over, it said something Avengers.

"Read it." He insisted. I was reading it and it was saying all everything I have done ever since Nat came along. It said that I was approved to be one of the Avengers.

"I'm only 15."

"Well, Natasha and a guy name Clint will help you train and become an agent. For the Avengers, you have the skills, you have amazing powers that someone could die for." I thought about it.

"I will become an agent, but I have to convince my dad." I need to learn this power, this all too new to me.

"Sounds good to me." He got up.

"For the Avengers, only if my dad is in it, I will join but if he's not, I'm sorry."

"I'll keep you posted. And in 5 days you, Natasha, and Clint will be training." He was at the door.

"Wait, have you heard of someone whose last name is Copper. Elena, Melissa, and Alex Copper." He turned around like he knew the name. "Do you?"

"You should tell them." He walked back to the living room. "You shall we talk about your powers?" I nodded.

"We should."

"Well, you can control fire wherever it is, and it can come out of your hands. Then the good part is that you know how to control it."

"Natasha, told me that I have to let go. What does she mean by that?"

"Someone or something." And one thing came to my mind, my mom. I looked down at my necklace and took a deep breath. "Your powers are magnificent and I need someone like you in SHIELD."

"You know what? I'll join." I mean hell! What can go wrong?

"Absolutely not!" I jumped. I turned and saw my dad. Oh no...

"Dad!" Fury got up and pulled my dad into the kitchen. What did I do? Then I heard the conversation.

"I'm not letting my daughter become one of those agents! She can get herself killed!"

"Have you told her about her powers?"

"She found out herself."

"Stark, I'm not here to threaten you but, what if I tell her the truth about her mom?"

"I can't, you can't. We all can't."

"If you want, let her talk about it." I ran to the couch. I saw them come out of the room.

"Crystal, tell me, why do you want to become an agent?" My dad said. I froze. I felt bad, but I want to do this. "You're too young." But Elena is one. She's 15. I don't want to be like those teenagers that don't do anything in their lives. I want to become an agent.

"I want to because I protect myself and others. Fury told me that, Natasha and someone else will help me train."

"But if you die."

"If I die it will be for a good cause."

"I just can't see you doing this."

"It's my choice."

"And it's mine too!" He raised his voice.

"I'll let you two handle this. I'll excuse myself." Fury said walking to the door and shutting it behind him.

"When were you going to me that I have the power to control fire?"

"I didn't know." He whispered.

"Dad, I want to do this." He looked at me.

"I just can't lose you. I lost your mother. You're not going to be next. I promised her."

"You're not going to lose me." I ran to his arms. "Never." He pulled out of the hug and looked into my eyes.

"If I say yes, when are you leaving?"

"In 5 days." He took a deep breath.

"Are you willing to take up the responsibility?" I nodded my head yes.

"I will." He nodded his head. "Thank you." I whispered. And he pulled me into another hug. After 5 minutes he let go.

"Wow, you're only 15 and you're being an adult." He chuckled.

"You can't be a kid forever."

"Go upstairs, go to sleep." He said and I ran upstairs.
