The End Of The Line

"Done." I said from the completion of the scan. I pulled out my and saw my Twitter. "And it's trending." I looked up and saw the council's men down on the floor with smoke. I pointed the gun at Pierce.

"Unless you want a two-inch hold in your sternum, I'd put that gun down." He told me. My eyes flashed to fire. "That was armed the moment you pinned it on." I saw Nick look at me and I dropped the gun. I closed my eyes again and normal. "Lieutenant, how long we have?"

"65 seconds to a satellite link. Targeting grid engaged. Lowering weapons array now."

"What a waste." None got killed. The carriers are getting blown up.

"So, you still on the fence about Steve Rogers' chances?" I told him.

"Time to go, Councilwoman. This way. Come on." He told me and I walked. I pulled out a taser. "You're going to fly me out of here."

"You know, there was a time I would've taken a bullet for you." Nick said to Pierce.

"You already did." I clicked the taser and I landed on the ground and it went black for a few minutes.

"Crystal! Come on!" Nick yelled. I woke up and I didn't open my eyes.

"Ow. Those sons of bitches do sting." Nick helped me up.

"I thought I lost you." I smiled. I stand up and I slowly walked and then I jogged to put on my regular clothes. I walked out and went to a helicopter to look for Sam and Steve.

"After getting them I'm looking for Elena." I yelled at Nick through the noise of the helicopter.

"Please tell you still got that chopper in the air!?" Sam yelled from the mic.

"Sam, where are you?" I told him.

"41st floor! Northern corner!"

"We're on it! Stay where you are!"

"Not an option!" Nick tilted the helicopter and Sam got in and the door broke off. "41st floor! 41st!" I pulled Sam up.

"It's not like they put the floor numbers on the outside of the building."

"Hill! Where's Steve? You got a location on Rogers?" I said. We got to the ground and I ran off to get Elena. I ran to the building and saw her outside. "Elena!" I ran to her and hugged her.

"Crystal! Thank god!" I heard a gun click and I stood there. Elena pushed me out of the away.

"ELENA!" I screamed loud and I heard another shot fired. I grabbed my gun and shot the man. I ran to Elena's body. "Elena, it's going to be okay! Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" I cried.

"C-crystal, it's okay." She coughed up blood. I put pressure on her chest.

"Someone help me!" I yelled at the people. "Help!"

"C-crystal it's okay."

"No, no it's not!"

"You have to tell Matt. Tell Matt I love him. My parents!" I cried and she did to.

"No! Elena!"

"Go live your life. I'm always going to be next to you." She gasped for air. "Crystal Stark, Thank you for being my best friend, that anyone can ask for."

"Elena, please don't!"

"HYDRA, experiment, twins. Look into it. Pierce told me." I saw my hands covered in blood.

"Elena! Don't you dare die on me! Stay with me!" She nodded.

"Thank you, Crystal. To the end of the line." And she took her slow breaths, some part of me thinks she's still alive. I screamed louder this time making a few cars beeps, and windows shattering. I cried.

"Elena." I whispered. No longer than 6 minutes, an ambulance came and I saw Elena's parents. I stood there.

"Crystal! WHAT HAPPEN TO OUR BABY!" Her dad said and her mom holds me back. I saw her dad went with the paramedics

"I'm sorry."

"Crystal, tell me, what happened." She wasn't mad and she cried.

"She saved me from two bullets." My voice cracked. Mrs. Copper hugged me.

"Everything is going to be okay."
