"Somehow I feel like nothing really matters anymore."

017: piece of peace

His head hurt. Like worse than usual.

Hoseok was currently sitting at a booth, waiting for Namjoon to order food. He had wanted to pay for their meal but Namjoon threw a tantrum about how he was so rude to him and how Hoseok wasn't one hundred percent at the moment so he kinda had to let Namjoon do as he pleased.

He was really dizzy though. His head was laying on his arms on top of the clean table. Surprisingly, they were in a pretty nice diner. It was really close to their college too.

His head was practically splitting open now. His eyes drooped and he couldn't help but let his eyes flutter closed.

At first, it was like being sleepy. Just tired and wanting to sleep. But soon he found he couldn't keep his eyes open.

Hoseok's breathing hitched as he tried to pry his eyes open but failed to. He feared passing out would leave him vulerable and put a burden on Namjoon.

No matter what he tried, he couldn't move his body. It was completely shutting down on him.

It was the feeling of not being in control that scared him the most.

It felt like death was holding onto him by the feet and trying to drag him away.

If Hoseok was being honest with himself, he didn't care anymore. He didn't care what happened to him, he was just so tired.

He functions improperly. Like an empty robot just going through the motions. His feelings were lost. Lost somewhere in his heart that held so much pain and memories.

Hoseok didn't know what he wanted to do with his life. He never had a strong passion for anything other than dancing but he had lost even that. When he had lost everything, he lost his will to dance.

Now, dancing just served to be a reminder. He couldn't truly feel happy when doing it, he just did it because he had to and because he was good at it.

It wasn't the time to be rethinking his life but he felt he was dying. And for someone who tried so hard to see the world through a pretty lens, he didn't want to fight against it.

Only a few moments later, he drifted off.

And he hoped this would be the last time he was awake.

It wasn't peaceful when he felt he was sinking. He felt like he was drowning.

Maybe he deserved to die in fear.

"Hoseok hyung?"

Namjoon POV

He was walking back to the booth where he left Hoseok when he found Hoseok was asleep.

But it was strange. Such a pale completion and such a cold body? People didn't look like a corpse when they slept.

"Hoseok hyung?"

Namjoon ran over to the boy, gently shaking his shoulders.
