"Stories get bad endings but there's no way I'll let ours end like this."

031: dawn

Falling.

Down and down, Hoseok's body fell into the ocean without a splash. His head-first dive was enough to make everyone who saw both mesmerized and horrified at the same time.

They didn't have time to sit back and watch.

Yoongi, the one who disliked water the most, was the first one in the ocean.

There was no last one. Each boy rushed into the ocean, desperately, wanting nothing more than for Hoseok to live. It wouldn't end this way.

Seokjin knew it wouldn't from the moment he watched Hoseok leave his house. They wouldn't let his life end like this. They had taken the wrong approach, it was their fault if you were to play the blame game. Rather than focusing on normality, they should've urged him to enroll in therapy. They could've prevented his attempt but they sure as hell would prevent his death.

A swarm of freezing bodies, a current that swept over them.

The screams of on-lookers were muffled to the boys, and the lifeguards who were called hurried into action.

All of the boys ignored the sounds, the screams, the rippling current, the exhaustion. It was like they were under water at the bottom of the sea with only one objective. In this case, it was the love of their life. It was their savior, Hoseok.

"This can't happen again," Namjoon said aloud what everyone had been thinking.

Of course, they were successful in saving the love of their life. If they weren't capable of such things, they didn't deserve to be in Hoseok's presence at all. But they had made a terrible mistake. That mistake was failing to help Hoseok.

Twice he had tried to kill himself in the past year and it was only February. That didn't include the time or times he had tried before he had met them.

Seokjin sighed, "We have to help him. It's terrible how we decided to give him time. That was a huge mistake on my end. I thought he needed to think but I didn't think he'd think to the point where he'd try it again. We should've checked on him everyday and gotten him help. Imagine how much he had been suffering all by himself."

"Why doesn't he move in with you, Jin hyung? You can ask and then it'd be easiest to help him. I'm only suggesting this because there's both you and Jungkook to look after him. If you don't want to, I'll personally beg him to move in with me," Yoongi said. Everyone was still in a state of unease with dilated eyes and shaky breaths. They wouldn't be able to rest until they had seen Hoseok awake. The said boy was sleeping in the hospital room they were in and he still hadn't woken up yet.

No one could rest until they saw his gentle brown eyes for themself.

"No, he can move in with Jungkook and I. Actually, I've been really wanting to have him move in anyways. It was part of my plan but it was delayed for awhile."

"Then can I move in with you too, Jin hyung? I want to live with Hoseok. Can Hoseok and I share a room?"

Jin scoffed, "I'm fine with you moving in, Jimin, but don't be so fucking greedy. You think I'd happily let you get to share a room with Hoseok all by yourself? Please. But on that note, I have an extra eleven rooms so anyone who wants can move in. I think it'd be much easier if everyone was together. We've all become good friends, right?"
