Cody was at the gate when I got to school. He seemed to be looking for someone, which I will assume is me. I can't believe this! This will be the first year that Grant and I will be apart pero ang bait ni Lord kasi pinalitan n'ya ang bodyguard ko with a boyfriend. I just hope my bestfriend will be able to finally find love in his new school so he won't feel alone.
As I took another step closer to Cody, I felt my phone vibrate inside my pocket. It was a message from my Poopie: Good luck in your senior year, Poopie. Show them what you've got. Have fun! I love you!
Ang sweet talaga ng taong ito. Kahit may ibang mundo na ay hindi pa rin ako nakakalimutan. I'm pretty sure mamimiss ko s'ya. And so I replied with: Thank you, Poopie! Good luck din sa 'yo and have fun. You are the best. Always remember that. Love you!
"Excuse me. I'm looking for my beautiful girlfriend. Have you seen her?"
Bigla akong napatingin sa harap ko nang marinig ko ang taong nagsalita. Parang piniga ang puso ko when I saw that it was Cody. Hindi ako nakahinga nang nakita ko ang smiling face n'ya. He's much cuter now that he's right in front of me. At dun sa beautiful part, well I hate to brag but I think it's true. Dapat lang mukha akong maganda ano! Ang tagal ko kaya sa harap ng salimin para i-blow dry at ayusin ang buhok ko.
"Ano bang pangalan ng girlfriend mo?" I played along.
"Clarquin Salazar. Kilala mo ba s'ya?"
"Siguro kung idedescribe mo s'ya sa akin ay marerecognize ko."
"Well, she's really beautiful. She has this beautiful smile and eyes that twinkle when she smiles. Ang bait-bait din n'ya and her sense of humor is so fresh. May secret akong sasabihin sa 'yo ha," he said while leaning his head a little bit closer to mine.
"Ano 'yun?"
"Don't tell her ha pero patay na patay kasi ako sa kanya eh."
Sa puntong ito wala na talaga akong nasabi. Sino pa ba naman ang makakapagsalita after that? Feeling ko nga matutunaw na ako sa kinatatayuan ko eh.
"O, bakit di ka na nagsalita d'yan?"
"You really know how to shut me up," ang nangingiting sabi ko. "'Wag mo akong masyadong pakiligin at baka mangisay na lang ako dito. I don't wanna make a scene. Nakakahiya."
