I still remember the day,
when it's the first time that I saw you.
You are walking through my way,
and I can't take my eyes away from you.

Is this what they called; Love at first sight?
I don't know what to do.
My heart and my mind started to fight,
Thinking fast on how to greet you.

I suddenly feel a loud thump,
What's this weird thing inside my chest?
Why my heart vigorously pump,
Just by seeing you made me guess.

I still don't know what do they called it,
Should I be concerned to what will happen?
I have no idea on what I'm feeling right now is just only my guilt,
It feels like so surreal, what's with this heavy burden that I feel so sudden?

A/N: This is dedicated to my first crush. Wala lang, thankful lang kasi ako na nakilala ko siya--way back 2018. He's my long time crush and he's the main reason kung bakit natuto akong magsulat ng poems and stories. For short, he's the reason kaya naging writer ako. 😌
