There was once me and you,
Who promised forever without finding new.
Watching the stars together, without feeling any blue,
Embracing this serenity, while watching this comeliest view.

'Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall.'

Just like the song, I'm alone here again,
Repeatedly thinking how to overcome this pain.
I was just like Humpty Dumpty, who's peacefully sitting on my wall,
But when you came along, I slipped up and fall.

'Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.'

Just as I remembered, hearing you sing makes my heart flutter,
The way you care, made it's beat any stronger.
Enjoying your company's making me be happier,
And just like Humpty Dumpty, I can't help myself to fall harder.

'All the kings horses, and all the kings men.
Couldn't put Humpty Dumpty together again.'

My love for you is twice as strong as the king and it's men,
The love that no matter what happen, it'll never fade nor never vain.
Once I fall hard, you're just the only one I'm thinking,
Never want to hold back, cuz I'm continuously drowning.

Never thought that I would forget you so easily,
My heart feels heavy, when you said you're not ready.
And just like Humpty Dumpty,
No matter how many oblivions would try me.
How many heartbreaks will come to me,
No matter how strong that is to heal me.
Once that I shattered, there's no thing that could fix me.

Ps: This poem is dedicated to my friend which had a suitor na kailan lang sinabi sa kanya na ito pa pala ang hindi ready 😂, buti na lng okay na sya now and relate talaga sya sa poem na ito. (May bago na daw kasing nagpapasaya sa kanya ngayorn, sanaol na lang diba). Di talaga kase ako makatulog pag di ko nagawan poem tong song na to, it was my childhood favorite song. I remembered having a hard time while memorizing this and now ginawan ko na ng elegy kind of poem 😅.
