"Ms. Chairman, please proceed to the conference room," Mom's secretary entered my office.

She's now my secretary.

"I'll be there in a minute, Nille."

"Yes, Ma'am. Mauuna na po ako," Isinara niya ang pinto ng office ko.

I stared at the ring on my fourth finger, Dine gave it to me.

"Mavel! Napaka-tagal mo naman, sabing pumunta na sa conference room, 'e! Dalian mo na!" Pumasok si Kuya saka inalalayan si Ate Karanna to sit down.

She's 3 months pregnant.

"Papunta na nga 'di ba?! Kukunin ko lang 'yung bag ko," Hinawakan ko muna ang tyan ni Ate bago isinabit sa balikat ko ang shoulder bag.

"Bag sa meeting? Ewan ko talaga sa'yo! You're 26 and still acts like a child. Jesus!" Hindi ko siya pinansin at nagpatuloy nalang sa paglabas sa office.

Look who's talking, a 29-year old man.

"Can't you just let your sister go even this time? She's grown up, Vest. She's even a Mom!" I laughed, his soft spot is Ate K. Hindi na siya sasagot lalo na ngayong buntis siya.

I continued to walk my way to the conference room. This is a part of my everyday life now.

It's all thanks to the promise I made with Yino before.

I stepped in at nandoon na pala ang lahat ng board members, "I'm sorry, I was late."

They just smiled at me. Umupo ako sa upuan ko na nasa gitna at nag-pay attention sa presentation ng isang employee.

"We've decided to polish some parts about the release of our new designs this 2021. The pink, gray and blue sets are now fixed and has nothing to worry about. The only problem we have is about the pastel purple set which is about to be launched on July," I placed my hand on the table, "As we can see here, the comparison of the three sets compared to the pastel purple is a bit different. The problem is..." He's hesitant to tell me.

I raised both of my eyebrows, "What's the problem?"

"The same factory where we get the past cloths is now about to close, Ms. Chairman. They decided to take our three sets as the last products they will produce," I nodded, "Do we need to find another factory that produces the same cloth?"

May pakiramdam na ako noon na this factory probably won't last for more than three years kaya nag-research na rin ako and I guess I did the right thing," Binuksan ko ulit ang laptop ko saka ini-connect ko sa projector.
