Alas dose na yata ng gabi kami umuwi. We had lots of fun chatting.

Hinatid ako ni Yino kagabi but he didn't sleep there. May kailangan daw siyang gawin for today.

"Mommy! Mommy! I saw something! Daddy left it kanina po!" I woke up because of her voice.

I gave her a thumbs up and went back again to sleep.

"Mommy! Wake up!" I placed a pillow on my head to reduce the sound she's making.

She removed the pillow and forced me to get up, "Mommy! Daddy left a note!"

Pinilit kong mag-mulat para basahin ang note na hawak niya, "I'm afraid you'll worry so here's a note to tell you that I went here around 6 am but you're still asleep. I wrote this to tell you I love you and our daughter. I'll be there at noon, baby. Wait for me," Binasa ko ang nakasulat.

How come this isn't as cheesy as it is when he's the one doing it?

I felt a smile plastered on my face, "Your Daddy is so-"

"Sweet, right Mommy? Daddy's so so so sweet! He said he loves me!" She giggled.

I pinched her cheek, "Yes, your Daddy is so so so sweet! Kailangan maraming 'so' para mas sweet pa sa sweet," I laughed.

Sabay na kaming bumaba for breakfast, naabutan namin doon si Mama at Papa na nanonood ng tv, "Good Morning, Lola! Lolo!"

Their gazes shifted to us, "Good Morning, maganda kong apo!" They both came closer to us.

"I have a surprise for the both of you. But let's wait for your Dad to be here first," Binuhat ni Papa si Maveline.

I shook my head, "Ano na naman 'yan? You're getting closer and closer with him again, ah."

Umupo ako sa isang chair at pinagmasdan sila. My Mom smiling next to my Dad who has my daughter in his arms, this is the best view, ever.

"Let's wait until later. No spoilers muna," He pinched my daughter's cheek.

"I'm excited, Lolo!"

We waited until noon. Since it's the weekends, hindi puno ang schedule ko for today. I have all the time in the world to spend with them.

It's already 11 o'clock pero hindi pa rin siya dumadating. 30 minutes have passed when we finally heard the doorbell.

"Is it Daddy?" Maveline stood in the couch para makita ang papasok sa pinto.
