Chapter 33- Kill Them

Luke PV:

The Luna launches at me and I barely manage to roll away.  Damn, my chest stings so bad.  It is silver it just burns more then it normally would.  The alpha has quite the mate, that's for sure.  

"When you face an opponent you should never be distracted because that is when your life ends."  Her wolf is still in control, are they really equals?  Why isn't Tasha stopping her wolf from trying to kill me?  Crap.

I feel another slash in the other direction on my chest.  I feel like fainting at any moment now.  

'Charlie, some help would be nice!'

'I-I can't.'  Charlie whimpers quietly.

'What do you me you can't?!!  I'm about to die here!'  I yell at him but get no response.  

'Crap, if I happen to live I'm never going to forgive you until the day we die!'

I focus back on the wolf who is trying to murder me and stand up dodging a fist and I run deeper into the forest.  I try to sense any others around but before I get anything I'm pinned to the ground with silver claws digging slowly down my back.  

I never imagined I would be tortured like this, in fact I think this wolf is enjoying it.  I howl out in pain and hear wolves coming but they aren't part of my pack.  They are rogues!  This isn't good, I can tell there is way more then 20.  Is this an sneak attack?!  I have to tell her and then the Alpha no one knows and I can tell she doesn't know just by the way she is acting.  

I try to push her off to get up but she digs deeper into my back.  My vision is getting more blurry now and I won't be able to stay awake for much longer.  No!  I have to warn the pack and save them!  

But how?!  Maybe that way?  It's the only way though, I have no other way.  I have to force Charlie out.  I close my eyes and search my mind for Charlie and find him.  I run towards him and when I see his face it is terrified.  Like he would rather be dead then alive.  What has him so scared that he doesn't even notice a thing?  

I'll have to figure it out later, I touch my forehead with his and I open my eyes with wolf vision.  This time I easily push her off me and scramble against a tree.  My wounds burn and they aren't healing.  That's when I hear her growl and I look up to see a monster figure above her.  It seems attached to her but see through.  Is it just a vision or real?  

It is very scary and I try to back up but I am against a tree.  Now I see why Charlie was so scared.  It has huge dark dragon wings twice its body size, it has long twisted horns, big fangs and a lot larger then Alpha Zane.  I doubt he could match this hellish monster.  

She growls not at me but the forest, that's when I notice the the rogues have arrived.  One by one they come out from behind trees and bushes.  Right now I can see 10 but I know there are more hiding close by.  

"My my, the great gamma of the Moon Stone Pack is near death by a she wolf in human form.  Makes me wonder if the strongest pack really has weakened."  A voice taunts and a well built male came out and I can tell he has a little more power then the others.  He must be the leader of this group.  

A deep growl comes from the direction of the Luna and she launches towards me and I brace myself for the pain but nothing happens.  I open my eyes and see all the rogues in pools of blood and the leader at the mercy of the Luna.  But I don't see that monster anymore.

I slowly pick myself up and lean against the tree when the rogue leader plees.  

"I'm sorry, but aren't-cough-aren't you a rogue too?  We should really work-cough- together.  You took out half my group-cough-in a blink of an eye."  He can barely make words out.

"You are with them aren't you?!  I must kill them all.  Answer me, you are with them, don't even think about lying to me."

"I don't know what- cough!"

"I can always tell when someone is lying and it pisses me off!"  Luna yells and his face is turning purple and blue.

I start to head towards them because we need him alive to questioning.  She turns her head towards me and we make eye contact, her eyes are swirling black and gray and soon they are completely black.  

"Are you with them?" That's when I just realized her voice is completely different, her eyes are consumed by blackness the viens around her eyes are black and her body is emitting so much heat that I'm feeling it and starting to sweat.  Aren't these are smytoms of a demon?

"They must all die, I must kill them all."

Yup, I'm pretty sure that's what a demon would say, but this demon is more calm then the wolf.  Maybe I'll try to get some answers out this demon.  I'm sure no one else would ever question a demon, actually I'm pretty sure no one has ever questioned one before.  

"Um, Demon?"  I ask nervously

"I'm not a demon."  Those pitch black eyes glare at me.

"Right um then what are you?"

"I don't answer to a peasant like you."  Oh my god, did he just call me a peasant?  Like a beggar?!  "You're lucky I'm even talking to you.  If my master didn't save you and since you are not with them, I wouldn't answer to you, lower class."

Peasant? Beggar? Lower class?  Is this thing royalty or something?  Okay at least he is answering well more like insulting me.

"Who is it that you must kill and why?"  I spell out slowly.

It snarls and twists the leader's neck all the way around then tears it off.

"Was he part of them you are talking about?"  I'm pretty sure I am right but I want to get as much as I can out of this thing, because I know the wolf will kill me if I ask and Luna won't talk to me so this is my only chance.  

"Yes"  He starts to leave and he hasn't answered any of my other questions.  I try to follow but collapse to my knees and notice I am still dripping blood from my chest and back.  

I let out a big sigh and am disappointed then I hear whimpers and growls and the Luna comes out covered in blood.  Must've taken care of the other rogues that were hiding to attack.  

It's like a bloody monster out of a legend.  Covered in blood from head to toe but she doesn't seem fazed at all.  

Her eyes are still black as a demon's.  

"Now, to answer your question, I exist to protect my master from them, those who have only brought her pain and suffering since she was a baby."

She stops right in  front of me and bends down.  

"This is a lesson for everyone to know, Sasha's word is law so I can not heal you but you will not die.  It may seem like it but you won't.  And never speak of what you saw here today, otherwise I will come back and kill you, your family, every pack member and anyone else who hears of it."

"But I can't go against an Alpha's tone if he orders me to."  I explain, but there he goes insulting again.

"That is one of the things I hate about peasants.  Humph, here with this any Alpha can't order you what to do."  She presses her pointer finger on the top of my palm and a strange tattoo that looked like a dragon appeared then disappeared.  

She gets up then and walks into the darkness and a gust of wind blows and leaves falls.
