ZANE POV

As soon as Kens cuts off the mind link my dad is ordering warriors to go search for his daughter, including me.  When I get outside of the pack house, I think.  If my mate wants to get out of here she would want to go where she lives.  I've heard she came out of the Woods on the first day of school and the evening I met her for the first time she went into the Woods again.  So I decide to head in the direction of the Woods.  I call a few warriors to come with me and I lead the way, Kenna also said she was with Tasha.

It was one dark night when the whole pack saw a white light racing down from the sky.  The next morning my dad and I went to check it out, where the star landed.  But it wasn't a falling star.  It was a baby girl with a white glow shimmering around her.  As soon as my dad picked her up, the glow faded and the baby opened her eyes and smiled.  We took her back and a few days later she was adopted by my parents.

As she grew up, she learned she had healing powers and could glow so bright she blinded a rogue once.  She also didn't shift at the age of 18 either, she was 15 and had a pure white fur with golden eyes.  Her wolf could also speak to other wolves and was a little bit bigger then a female werewolf.

That's why she is very special and loved by everyone in the pack.  She is also the best sister I could ever ask for but she can be very stubborn.  Like today, I heard my father and her got into another fight.  I don't know what it was about but it wasn't good.  If they do get in a fight, she usually spends the night out who knows where but tonight isn't a good night to do that.  We could never track where she goes either because she can somehow hide her scent.  Plus a rogue pack attacked us and my mate is also gone...again.

My mate, she is gorgeous.  I didn't know such a wolf could exist, but its weird.  She doesn't seem that interested in me.  Her smell also isn't what I expected.  No wolf has ever smelled like chemicals before.  I pretty sure it isn't normal even if a mate is suppose to have a very unique scent.

But I am glad Kenna and her met, just not in the right circumstances.

"I smell blood!"  One of the warriors said.  I halt and smell the air.  I catch the scent of blood, my mate and Kenna, but its faint.

I tell the others to hurry to the source of the blood.  When we start getting closer, the smell gets a lot stronger and it makes me more nervous by the second.   I sihft into my lycan form and run faster, leaving the warriors behind.  I finally make it to a pretty big open area surrounded by trees.  But the open area wasn't normal.  The ground was burnt to black, small flames of fire were burning on the ground, there are signs of trees growing but completely gone now.  The thing I didn't like the most was all the blood but no bodies.

The warriors caught up and looked at the scene.  There were gasps and growls all round but no body said anything.  I changed back into a human and a warrior gave me a pair of shorts.  I whisper thank you as I put them on.

"Everyone spread out!"  I tell them to look for anything helpful about what happened here.  When a warrior calls me and the others over.

There on the ground is huge paw marks.  A tracker sniffs it and says its from a werewolf but there's something weird about the scent.  Plus no werewolf is big enough to make paw prints this size.  I bend down to touch the print and see blurred pictures of what happened.

I am hiding in a bush and see Kenna being surrounded by wolves, I can't see how many.  Next a wolf is lunging itself in front of me but I don't move.  Next flash I'm ripping bodies apart, one after another.  I can't hear any sound but sense something is wrong.  I turn around and see Kenna being held by a rogue wolf, ready to slice her throat.  Next thing I know I'm on all fours and fire is surrounding me.  Next picture is picking up bodies and swallowing them then I see Kenna on her knees and I start walking towards her, no rogue in sight.

I quickly take my hand off the paw print and groan in pain.

"What did you see?"

"Are you okay?"  One of the warriors helps me stand back up.

"I'm good, I saw what happened here."  I was about to explain when a trig snapped.  Everyone whipped their heads around growled when Kenna came out into view.

Next thing I knew I had Kenna in my arms tight.

"Are you okay?"  I ask still hugging her.

"Yeah, if you stop trying to kill me."  She struggles to say.  Oops.  I let her go but stay by her side.

"Kenna!  You're okay!"  Warriors shout out in happiness.

She smiles at them and lifts her arm to wave but whines.  I look at her arms and see faint burning marks on them.  I take a second look at her and see more all over her body.  On her shoulders and neck to her legs and I can imagine on her back too.

"Kenna!  you are not okay.  You have burnt marks all over you."  I yell and she flinches.

"Its fine, I'm healing already and am alive."  She rolls her eyes like always when she thinks something isn't a big deal.

"Who did this to you?!"  I question her.

She smirks and says, "If I tell you, you won't believe me."
