Escape The Dead

Chapter 20- Tales of Tyler, Matt & John

"By the way, what happened to you guys?" Gina asked.

They were following the three boys down the hallway.

"Yeah? What did happen to you guys? And how did you meet Dr. Adam?" Jack asked.

Tyler stopped walking, and everyone soon stopped in their tracks as well. Tyler turned around to face Gina and Jack.

"Dr. Adam saved us..." Tyler started. "I was still trapped in that bullshit of a school when the undead took over..."

*highschool flashback*

Tyler ran down the hall ways, jumping down stairs, panting as he tried to escape the moaning herd of monsters slowly chasing him down. He took a sharp turn and bumped into Johnny. They both fell to the ground either rubbing their asses or heads.

"What the hell!" Johnny snapped.

"That should be my line!" Tyler snapped back.

They were about to get in an argument when moaning and groaning could be hear from behind Tyler. They both scurried onto their feet and ran towards the gym.

"What are we gonna do!" Johnny shouted.

"Well one thing, stop shouting! We're under attack by zombies, so keep your voice down. We need to hide somewhere," Tyler said.

"And where do suggest?" Johnny asked quietly.

"Well this hallway leads down to the gym, so that's our only route right now. We can escape throught the back doors."

"Ok, so what are we gonna do once we get out?"

"I don't know! I never thought that the world could be attacked by zombies, they're not even real!"

Johnny took a quick glance behind his shoulder to see more zombies in the chase. "Oh I think they're pretty real."

"No shit, Sherlock!"

They ran all the way to the gym shutting the double doors. They both sighed in relief when the zombies can't break in. The banging and groaning on the door was really loud sounding, it echoed in the gym. But when they turned around, there were more zombies inside making their way over to them. They had no where to run. The doors locked behind them with zombies in front of them. Then Matt came to veiw. Batting all the zombies in the head with a wooden baseball bat in hand. When Matt made sure all the zombies were dead he turned to the two stunned teenage boys staring at him.

"You guys ok?" Matt asked.

*end of highschool flashback*

"So you guys escaped the school through the gym's back door," said Gina.

They were currently sitting by the walls in an empty hallway.

"Yes. The three of us escaped, but the world has gone mad. I've seen people sacrificing family members just so they could run away, killing instead of helping, but what can you do? When push comes to shove... they shove, right into the zombie's face," Tyler clenched his fist.

"So what happened next?" Jack waved for Tyler to finish.

"After we escaped, we took shelter in some other buildings. We were able find weapons and defend ourselves, but our food and water supplies were running low. When we were out in search for food, we got into an argument and attracted a mob. We were able to escape thanks to Dr. Adam. He came in a helicopter, brought us to his lab and explained everything," Tyler said.
