Chapter 14- Flashback Stories

Everyone ate the sandwiches as they listened to Peyton and Zoie.

"Zoie and I escaped the highschool. We thought that everyone had turned, so we didn't bother searching for any survivers," said Peyton.

"I heard ringtones from the halls, but I was too afraid to check," said Zoie.

"Oh, that was us." Jillian pointed to Gina and herself.

"When we escaped, the outside was worst. Everywhere we go there were zombies roaming. We had to find weapons and food," said Peyton.

"We usually just crash into a house or something. We were lucky enough to not get bitten yet," Zoie waved.

"So how about you guys," Peyton asked. "How did you survive?"

"Oh, well Gina saved me from the zombies when I was getting chased in school. And Nicole was with Joe and Jack when they saved us from more zombies. Gina helped us get out of the school through the kitchen back door and-"

"Then she drove a car saying that she knows how to drive and yet she almost killed us by crashing the car! She also caused the car to explode creating a huge bonfire that split us up. I was stuck with Jill in the museum, then we got split up in the museum because Jill wanted to use the damn elevators, getting attacked by zombie panthers, I killed my own parents and we got chased by a damn zombie bear. While getting chased we finally found ourselves back together with Nicole and the others but they just have to bring two freaking zombie panthers along in the chase! We found a campsite and took shelter. I slept alone in a cabin across from their's...," Gina pointed to Jillian and the others, "...just to meet another dang bear! And that's how I got these big gashing claw marks from that dang stupid zombie bear at the dang stupid campsite!" Gina lifts up her shirt showing the blood stained bandages. "And we split up in the aquarium, Jack saved me from a zombie dolphin but he lost an arm because of it. And that's how we got here." Gina bursted, taking in a deep breath trying to calm down. Everyone looked at her like she had gone insane.

"You ok now?" Jillian asked.

"Yeah," Gina sighed. "Getting that out of my system feels a lot better."

"Ok, so you said you guys split up, right? That was Gina's and Jillian's part of the story. What about Nicole's part of the story?" Zoie turned to Nicole.

"Well, after we split up from the car crash, it was just me, Joe and Jack. Jack guided us to the police station which did not have a really good welcome party for us. We loaded ourselves with guns and ammo. I tried to call Jillian through Gina's phone, but she had her password on. We took the police car, and I was the one driving. I was also almost killed by a crazy man at the gas station and Jack shot a living person, I also crashed the police car, we also got chased by three zombie panthers which leads us to where Gina and Jillian was with the zombie bear. And that kind of links to Gina's story from there." Nicole shrugged.

"You guys had it tougher than we did," said Peyton.

"You got that right." Gina rolled her eyes.

"Now if I remember, Jack lost his arm because of a zombie dolphin. Why is that?" Zoie asked.

"Well you see, when Jack saved Gina, We had to perform amputation on his arm because he was bi-"

"Nicole!" Gina yelled not wanting her to finish that sentence.

Gina was afraid that they might kill Jack without a second thought if they found out that he was bitten by a zombie. She couldn't risk them them finding out until Jack woke up.
