"Oh, just a snake."

She hissed as she stared at the end of the hallway.

"It's nice to see you too, Potter."

She rolled her eyes as Turner stalked closer to her.

"And why aren't you in class?"

She asked.

"I could ask you the same thing."

She set down her notebook.

"First year Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs had this period off, the snow has interfered with Herbology."

He nodded.

"Well, I was just heading to the hospital wing, some idiot seemed to blow up their potion in class, and Professor Snape just had to let me go."

Brittany scowled.

"There's nothing wrong with you is there?"

Turner smirked. Stupid smirks.

"Well, well, Potter. Seems you found out my secret. It's not visable, no, it's just a slight allergy to rats."

Brittany rolled her eyes and picked up her notebook.
"There are no rats in the potions dungeon."

Turner scoffed.
"Rat spleens. And it's a classroom, not a dungeon."

Brittany looked up from her drawing.
"No, it's a dungeon. Like all things Slytherin related. Potions classroom, which is taught by the head of Slytherin, is a dungeon."
Turner glared at her.
"Just because something is in the general area of the dungeons, such as the Slytherin common room, doesn't mean its a dungeon."
Brittany scratched at her paper, trying to erase the mark she just made. Slytherin common rooms were in the general area of the dungeons. That would be helpful for when the potion was ready...
"Are you listening to me?"
Brittany jumped off the ledge.
"No, I only listen to things that are important. And this is: classes are starting in ten minutes. I need to get all the way to the transfiguration classroom in that amount of time. And you should be in the hospital wing before you die from your rat spleen allergy."
She huffed and started off down the corridor.
"Really? Well-"
Turner started to make a comeback when a scream sounded through the air. Brittany jerked her head in the direction it came from and started running.
