Brittany woke up at 5:00. She got off the Dursley's couch and went to pet her cat. Despite Hagrid's rejections she had to get a sweet little tabby kitten who she named Fire. Harry had gotten an owl, who he named Hedwig. At 10:00 they left for Kings Cross. She and Harry had no idea how to get to platform 9 3/4 until they met the Weasleys. They showed them how to get to the express and they got on the train.

Brittany sat down in a compartment with Harry. She looked out the window at the Weasley family, who where saying goodbye and all, and watched as they boarded the train. The youngest boy came in and asked to sit with them. His name was Ron. Brittany stayed and talked with Ron and Harry until Ron's twin brothers came in."Hi we are Fred and George Weasley. You must have met our brother Ron. And you must be Harry and Brittany Potter." The twin called Fred said. "Do do you really have a a scar?" The twin called George asked. Harry lifted up his hair and showed a thin lightning shaped scar to the twins. They gasped. "Um so I was wondering if you wanted to go see a tarantula that our friend Lee's got, but is you would rather talk to Ron..." Brittany jumped up at once. "Cool! A real tarantula? Thats awesome!" She left Harry and followed the twins to a compartment labeled Gryffindor.

"Do you think shes allowed in? Shes not been sorted yet..."

George asked. Fred nodded and opened the door.

"Hey everyone! This is our new friend, Brittany Potter!"

Brittany smiled, mostly because she had just made two new friends, the first friends she had ever had. Everyone was standing up to say hello and shake her hand for some reason, and some one asked,

"Are you really Harry Potters sister? Did you really survive a killing curse?"

Brittany nodded and pointed to the scar across her face. She waited with them until a girl knocked on the door looking for a boy called Neville's toad. Brittany then left and changed into her robes for school.
