Potions heist

Potions was going smoothly. Brittany's swelling solution was only smoking slightly, and Snape hadn't walked past her yet.
"I need to fix this."
She poked at the fire. Act normal. Pretend you know nothing about Harry dropping the Filibuster into Goyle's cauldron.
"Gah!"
Her potion had splurted into the air. Nothing was wrong, it just startled her.
"Your potion should not be yellow, Potter. That would explain the sudden bubbling. Your fire's too hot, lower it immediately otherwise this is useless."
Snape passed Brittany without making eye contact. She heard a fizz, the unmistakeable sound of a firework being set off, and focused her eyes on the instructions. A loud boom sounded through the classroom as a puff of smoke billowed up. Several people were clutching growing body parts, Malfoy's nose huge. Snape looked livid. Hermione was no where to be seen.
"Any one who was hit with the potion come forward for the antidote now. Line up!"
Snape barked. Brittany poked at her cauldron again.
"I don't think it's supposed to be that yellow."
She said out loud.
"Your fire's still too hot. Try restarting it."
Brittany looked up and saw Seamus Finnegan giving her advice.
"Thanks."
She smiled.
"No problem."
He turned back to his cauldron. Snape had stepped over to Goyle's now. He extracted the shriveled firework. Brittany noticed Hermione was back.
"When I find who did this..."
Snape started, looking directly at Harry.
"They will be expelled."
He glanced over to the left side where Brittany was. Brittany quickly smothered her fire as the bell rang.
"He suspected me."
Harry said in the hall way.
"That's a new one. Again, why couldn't I have done it?"
Brittany asked.
"Because you're too obvious! It would be like using a prank as a diversion and saying Fred and George didn't do it, or having someone catch the snitch and saying it wasn't Harry!"
Ron said.
"It's quite obvious that Filibusters are your thing, so don't go blowing them up in cauldrons. Anyway, I have the ingredients."
Hermione smiled.
"It'll be finished soon."
