The Golden Trio is created

"Hermione. Hermione. Hermione. Hermione. Hermione."

Brittany was trying to get Hermione to come out of the bathroom for Halloween.

"No."

Hermione had heard Ron saying something mean about her. Hermione had locked herself in the bathroom all day.

"Fine. Be that way."

As Brittany went to walk away she saw something that made her stop.

"Um...Hermione...don't freak out....but....there's a troll. A very large mountain troll that is going to kill us all."

Brittany calmly said. Hermione screamed and two boys rushed in.

"This is a girl's bathroom! What the-"

Brittany stopped as the troll lunged.

"Wingardium Leviosa!"

Ron yelled. Nothing happened. Harry jumped on the back of the troll.

"Do something!"

He yelled. Brittany dragged Hermione out of some rubble and Ron yelled a spell. The club flew over the troll's head and hit him. Hard.

"Score one for Ron!"

Brittany yelled. Just as they were about to leave some teachers walked in.

"Oh this isn't good."

She whispered under her breath.

"How? What? I do not know how you managed to do that. Not many first years can take on a full grown mountain troll and live. Why were you in here??"

Brittany spoke up .

"Well Hermione needed to use the bathroom and everyone knows you can't go to the bathroom alone you may get abducted or cursed or murdered, or attacked by a troll, so anyway I went with her and the troll just...came. And Harry and Ron came to save us!"

Brittany finished.

"Well, five points from Gryffindor for not telling anyone where you were going."

Hermione looked at her shoes.

"And five points to Gryffindor-each-for sheer dumb luck!"

Harry and Ron smiled at each other.

"Ok so we are going back to the common room now...."

Brittany dragged her new friends to the Gryffindor common room.

"So. Friends. Anything going on??"

Brittany smiled. There are some things that you can't get out of without becoming friends. Taking down a mountain troll was one of them.
