Brittany met the rest of the Weasley's there and grabbed Standard Book of Spells, grade 2. The crowd was loud and mostly made of women Mrs. Weasley's age. A photographer came through and pushed Ron aside. But Gilderoy Lockhart saw Harry and he had to go up and get his picture taken with Lockhart. Brittany couldn't stop laughing at the look on Harry's face. He was super annoyed. He got the whole set of books, free of charge, but then...
"So Harry, where's your sister?"
Lockhart asked him.
"Um..."
Brittany mouthed 'Not here No not here!' At Harry but he didn't get it.
"She's over there."
Brittany glared at him.
"Ah Brittany Potter! Almost as famous as your brother, aren't you?"
Brittany glared more and said,
"But of course,"
Her words clearly dripping with sarcasm. Lockhart didn't notice.
"How amazing, the famous Potters. When they came into the book store today, wanting only purchase my autobiography, Magical Me, they did not known that both of them would be receiving my entire works, free of charge, and that I have gladly agreed to be the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!"
Brittany sighed. Hermione had made her read one of his books last year, and she liked it, but he didn't seem like the person who would be a good defense against the dark arts teacher.
"Here have these I'll buy my own."
Harry tipped his stack of books into Ginny's cauldron.
"Wouldn't want a second set would you?"
Brittany asked. Ginny nodded no.
"Shame. Hey Ron! Want these books!"
