OMNI-OAR.

1774, OCTOBER 03rd MONDAY 8:00 am.

Noche swiveled her left arm in front of her and aimed at Vida.

Her Dead Light Cannon charged. It swelled in power and size – Noche's Drive felt like it was going to burst. A blue compass began to rotate around her wrist.

"T-Three," Noche whispered. "At best, I can launch three mega Dead Light Cannons."

As she spoke her left arm shook; her right hand clasped it still.

"Dreg can't keep ignoring this," she said. "I-I have to buy time."

A compressed orb of lightning, air, and water formed before the scar in Noche's left palm. The tri-element ball grew to ten feet in diameter, then shrunk down to the size of a baseball. Vida tilted her head as she continued to walk forward.

"D-Dead Light Cannon!"

The storm sphere fired out of Noche's hand like a bullet – Vida dodged it with relative ease. The suction force slowed her down, but she kept walking. Noche charged her second attack.

"Dead Light Cannon!"

This time she hit Vida on the arm, the explosion occurred, the suction came... Vida walked out unscathed.

Noche charged the third attack, Vida was mere feet away, she launched and it hit with the force of a truck. The blind girl was completely encompassed in water, Noche was blown back by the explosion, and created a new oar. She slammed it into the ground as the suction began – the thunder blasted her world to silence.

Her eyes recovered to fire surrounding her. Flames parted and Vida stood in their midst. She undid the bandages as she grew closer. The bandages fell. There were no eyes – only burned, warped flesh that tightened around crevices of bone. Vida leaned in towards Noche, the empty sockets inches away from the blonde's eyes. Noche stared into the melted void.

"I can still feel them burning... Tell me Noche," Vida grinned. "Am I blind?"

Noche's teeth slammed shut from the upper to her jaw. The world became a blur of black and blue – darkness crept in from the edges of her vision, water collected on her skin, and sparks danced between her fingers. The motion slowed down, her environment cleared up, and the black was seen for what it was... Storm clouds.

Noche eye's snapped open; the darkness receded.

Vida launched her into the sky – and nearly knocked her out.

"You're going to fail," a voice said.

Noche grit her teeth as she reached the apex of her flight. The sparks between her fingers exploded as Noche clenched her fist. Her eyes widened – that wasn't her electricity. Mini arcs of lightning danced across her arms; Noche smiled. Gravity began to take effect and Noche spun to dive headfirst.

Prismatic energy shone around Noche's body, the storm grumbled, and golden bolts emerged from dark clouds. Lightning struck Noche, directed into cackling armor by her drive. Rainbow energy surrounded her feet – an explosion of wind shot her towards Vida.

"If I can't hurt you," Noche screamed. "Then maybe the storm can!"

Noche's armor supercharged, all the electricity from the black clouds struck her. She was a glowing ball of gold, a living plasma ball lamp, and she fell like a lightning bolt. The sky was filled with sparkling, yellow wires that were tied to the falling Noche. Vida tightened the bandages on her eyes, raised her head, and grinned.
