UNDER THE CHOKER.

1774, SEPTEMBER 22nd THURSDAY 10:00 pm.

Noche walked into her room, removing her choker as she entered. She closed the door, threw the bucket into the bathroom, placed the choker on the table stand, and laid down in bed. Moonlight shone from the nearby window. It illuminated the deep, massive, all encompassing red scar that encircled the entire diameter of her neck.

A scar so large it would take three fingers to obscure its height

A scar so large it would take three fingers to obscure its height. A scar so deep, that you could fit half a bottle-cap into the side of her neck. It almost looked like exposed muscle or a wound only an undead could survive. Noche's fingers lightly traced the red grooved flesh. The texture felt like tree bark.

"I have to pass the entrance exam if I want to recover my memories." She muttered, "If I join Cross... Then I can remember DeathTech... And how I got this scar."

Noche grabbed her blanket, threw it over her body, and closed her weary eyes.

"I have to pass the exam-"

"CAW!"

Noche shot up and turned towards her window. There wasn't anything there. So, she laid back down with caution – her heavy eyelids fluttered shut.

"CAW!"

Noche didn't shoot up like before. This time she slowly turned her head as she opened her eyes. There, in the window, sat a demented crow. Its crooked-spiral mouth opened slightly, causing a white mist to leak from it.

The sight startled Noche so much she had to blink. But when she opened her eyes, the crow was gone. Unsure if what she saw was real or her mind playing tricks on her, she laid her head back down. What Noche failed to notice was the choker, that was on her table stand, had gone missing.

Elsewhere, Raptorman waited on a chair at thechildren's hospital. Night had fallen long ago. He promised a child he would behere, so he STAYED here... Raptorman kept his promises to kids. Corey stumbledabout, looking very ill; despite the help of the female nurse.

"YOU STAYED!"

Corey's face lit up like he saw holiday presents under the tree. He then quickly stumbled over to Raptorman, giving him a big hug.

"You're still here! Thank you for being here!"

"Don't worry," Raptorman said softly, "I'll always be here."
