"i'm leaving~" raehyun called into the dormitory of ateez, dressed in baggy clothing, carrying a shopping bag that contained seungwoo's anniversary gifts and a cake she had purchased for the two to celebrate with. the female was going to meet up with her boyfriend at his studio for their one year anniversary. the couple didn't want to publicly go out to dinner or anything of the sorts for their anniversary solemnly for the fact that they did not want to be caught whilst being on a date and decided to spend the day indoors instead.
"uh? where are you going?" seonghwa peeked his head from the hallway connected to the kitchen where he was cooking.
"plan m entertainment," she vaguely answered the eldest member as she slipped on her sneakers with a small stumble before she caught her balance back. she looks back up at seonghwa and smiled at him. "for my anniversary~" she giggled.
"ah, yours and seungwoo hyung's?" he asked the female who nodded enthusiastically, grabbing her keys. "okay, have fun! don't stay out too late!" he hummed and returned to the kitchen where he was cooking for the other boys.
"i know~" raehyun sang as she left the dorms, making her way down to the parking lot to her car that she had received from her father for her 21st birthday. the female drove to her boyfriend's company and parked a few meters away before walking up to the doors of the building and made her way to his studio.
opening the door to his studio, raehyun beams as she greets her boyfriend brightly, surprising seungwoo as he turned to face the female. "oh you're here? that was quick," he chuckled and welcomed the girl by closing the door behind her and engulfing her into a hug. "i was just working on some stuff."
raehyun hummed, sitting on the couch as she gently placed down her belongings beside her as she leaned over to look at the computer that lit up the room. "for your solo comeback?" she asked him, now standing up behind his chair, placing her arms to loosely hang over his shoulders.
seungwoo hummed, his arms crossed as he eyed the mix displayed on the screen. "yeah. i've been working on it with some other producers and it's been hectic," he commented, his hands moving to play with raehyun's as she hummed. "wanna listen?" he asked her. nodding enthusiastically, seungwoo smiles and lets go of her hands and leans forward to press the space bar on the keyboard to play the track from the beginning. "what'd you think?"
"i like it," raehyun smiles and returns back to her seat that seungwoo followed her to. the couple sat beside each other before raehyun remembered the gift she had bought, turning to grab the shopping bag and handing it to him. "here! a present," she smiled at him. seungwoo smiles, thanking her and setting it between the two as he opening it to reveal some new clothes she had purchased in mapo-gu and a few new bracelets.
"wah~ thank you, angel," he kissed her temple before standing up momentarily to grab something off the desk that she didn't see beforehand and held his hand out to the girl with the item in his palms. despite being in a small bag, raehyun had a gut feeling that the presents her boyfriend would purchase would be on the expensive side of things. "here's yours. my sister helped me pick it out," he smiled at her.
raehyun raised an eyebrow at the older male as she sets the bag on her lap, slowly opening it and pulling out three velvet cases, setting them on her lap after moving the bag to the side. "what did you get me?" she asked him, eyeing her boyfriend who was relaxing on the couch beside her with a smile as he watched her open the boxes. inside the first velvet box was a simple promise ring with a little note, the second box held a constellation necklace and the third, an angel wing bracelet. "wah~ they're so pretty~" she beams. "thank you so much~"

"glad you like them," seungwoo chuckles, setting the bag she had given him to the other side before moving closer to raehyun as she immediately puts on the ring and turns to him for help with putting on the necklace and bracelet. "sunhwa noona helped with the ring. i knew what i wanted to get you when i was looking," he informed the female, clasping the necklace on for her before smiling.
"she knows me too well then," raehyun laughed, admiring the ring on her finger with a smile before leaning against seungwoo, her head resting on his chest as the couple now laid on the couch inside his studio. "i love you," raehyun glanced up at her boyfriend with a small smile, the smile widening when she saw seungwoo glances down at her and returned her 'i love you'.
"did you eat yet? do you want to order something to eat?" seungwoo asked the girl who reached down and showed the box with a smile. "what the- what is this?" he asked, grabbing something to act as a surface to put the box on.
"it's a cake," raehyun cutely smiled as she rests her chin on her knuckles, a smile plastered onto her face as she watched the victon member remove the dessert from the box and handed her a fork. the couple took a few photos together with the cake before digging into the sweet cake that raehyun had purchased. the pair continued their night by eating cake and spending time together whilst working on seungwoo's solo comeback songs.
