ATEEZ Raehyun was announced to go hiatus due to mental health in late February. Since then, she has not been active on any of the group's social media accounts, only appearing online once to ask her fans to respect her and her family's privacy after a sasaeng fan encounter.
Since then, the singer has gone M.I.A. and has yet to update fans of her health.
Was it only recently that fans were given an official update regarding Raehyun and her health since going on hiatus through KQ representatives.
Here is their statement: "Hello this KQ Entertainment, We have seen the countless requests for our artist, Raehyun and her current state regarding her mental health, which caused her to go on hiatus and miss recent group activities. Today, we are here to update all fans nationwide on her health and how she has been doing. Raehyun has spent the last few weeks resting back in her hometown, Mapo-gu with her family. Both, she and her family recently came up to Seoul and visited ATEEZ's dorms. Raehyun recently reported to her fellow members and KQ representatives on her health update in which goes as follows. Raehyun still experiences insomnia due to her lack of sleep and panic attacks from large crowds. She still fighting against her body image discomfort in order to properly return to her normal self. And although she is not in contact with her fans, she'd like to tell you all that she doing well and is slowly getting better. Her main goal regarding her hiatus is to learn to love herself once more and to come back much more confident than she ever was. And everyone here at KQ, 100% support her. That is as far as the updates we were given however over the next few weeks or months of her hiatus, we shall give fans nationwide updates regarding her health. - KQ Entertainment"
