It was Soribada 2019 and the event was highly known for having games backstage for the idols to play at whilst waiting for their turn to perform. In this case, Raehyun had forced Joochan to leave Golden Child's waiting room to accompany her. The two mainly played darts and basketball. "Oh? You're good?" Raehyun looked at her childhood friend who laughed.
"Ani, it's just luck," he commented, handing her the darts. "Watch."

Before her hiatus, Raehyun uploaded on Twitter about Golden Child's special performance of Seventeen's Fear. She commented: "Wah~ Chanchan grew up? Hehe, Good job my friend ☺️"

Raehyun was at a radio idol by herself with other various idols and the group was on the topic of friends who were idols. Raehyun talked about her friendship with Joochan. "Golden Child Joochan is my childhood friend. We went to the same elementary school, middle school and high school. Our mums are really close."

Raehyun thanked Joochan in her thank you letter for ATEEZ's All to Action album: "To my close friend Joochanie, thank you for being my friend and for being there, let's meet up soon!"

Golden Child was filming something for their channel and Joochan happened to invite Raehyun to the company and interview her for it. "Ne, annyeonghaseyo Raehyun-ssi," he greeted, making her look up from her phone with a laugh.
"What are you doing?" "Filming."

"Annyeong ATINY!" Raehyun waved cutely during her solo v live, suddenly her phone began ringing loudly making her answer it with an angry expression. "What?...Really? I hate you. Goodbye." she immediately ended the call after Joochan called for the only reason of wanting to annoy her.

"Annyeong Goldenness!~" Raehyun waved at their company's camera. "Right now, I'm taking over Joochanie's self cam because I'm much more interesting than him," in the background, fans could hear Joochan yelling at her. "Be quiet! I'm entertaining your fans!"
"Bring it over here! I'm more interesting than you!"
