Raehyun's parents were in town and had their neighbours petsit Remi and Jerry, their family dog and cat. Today, she invited her family and her boyfriend out on a family day, everything on her except for lunch because her boyfriend insisted on paying for her and her family as it would be the first time they would be meeting each other. "Okay seriously, oppa, I can pay," Raehyun told him as they walked over to the entrance of the restaurant her parents chose. It was Dokki, the popular all you can eat tteokbokki restaurant.

"Hmmm," he pretends to think before pushing the door open, letting her enter before answering her with a smile. "No," he laughed at her reaction. "What kind of boyfriend would I be if I let you pay on the day I meet your family," he chuckled and entered behind her, his hands tucked into his pockets.

"A modern boyfriend," Raehyun smiled at him before turning to see her family sitting at one of the tables by the corner. She waves her hands and pulls the male by the arm over to their table with a smile. "Mum! Dad! This is my boyfriend~" she giggled, watching him bow respectfully to her parents. "Hyunjunie~ How are you and school?~" she sang as she sat down beside him. "Better not be skipping classes~"

"I'm doing good noona~" Hyunjun eye-smiled at his older sister. "And I would never skip a class! Mum would throw a shoe at me if I did," he laughed as her mum stared at him with a 'damn-right-i-would' expression. "Annyeonghaseyo hyung, I'm Hyunjun, her little brother," he waved at the idol's lover who moved to sit down on Raehyun's other side.

"So I've heard," he chuckled, stretching over to ruffle the youngest's hair. "You're studying to be a surgeon according to Hyunie. I think you'll fit perfectly in that field," he smiled as Hyunjun thanked him, another eye-smile on his face. "Shall we eat? My treat," the male glanced at his girlfriend's parents.

"Aigoo~ What a gentleman," Raehyun's mother cooed. "It's okay, our Raehyunie said she would pay today," she waved a hand at him dismissively, her father nodding in agreement.

"Ani, my treat," her boyfriend chuckled, patting his girlfriend's head as she swatted it away.

"I tried telling him that I would," she stood up, grabbing the steel bowl for the ingredients as she turned to go fill it. "But he said no, what kind of boyfriend I would be-blah blah," she muttered. Her family members laughed at her attitude, smiling and gesturing for the male to follow her to gather ingredients. "Mum what sauce are we getting?" she asked, looking at the different sauces available to customers.

"Just the basic one, that's fine right?" she asked the couple who nodded. "Okay, you get the ingredients and I'll make sure your father and brother haven't filled themselves with fishcake," her mother said, making the two laugh.

The couple watched Raehyun's mother walk over to their table with the sauce mixture in hand, gently setting it down and scolding the males of her family for eating so much fishcake. "Aigoo, your family seems really close," her boyfriend commented as Raehyun nodded, walking over to the ingredients with the bowl in hand, choosing ingredients she knows her family would like.

"Oppa what do you want?" she asked him, looking at the options available to them. "I...want ramen or Chinese glass noodles," she commented, looking around for said ingredients.

"Me too," he sighed. "Let's go find them and bring fried goods as well," he smiled, leading her off to where they resided inside the restaurant. The pair chose ingredients quietly, murmuring to themselves as they gathered ingredients when Raehyun felt a tap on her shoulder. Looking over, she sees a foreign girl who's shyly staring at her feet.

"H-hi," she stuttered in English before covering her face. "Oh my god this is so weird," she shook her shaking hands. "So like I'm a fan and I was wondering if I could get a picture real quick?" she asked in English to which Raehyun understood. "It's okay if you're busy on a date," the fan said with her hands out.

"Oh no!" Raehyun smiled at her. "It's fine, really, thank you for asking so nicely! Of course, I'll take a photo with you!" she answered in Korean, gently grabbing the phone from her shaking hands and handing it to her boyfriend, who was more than happy to take the photo for the two.

"You two match well with each other," she said in Korean once she was comfortable enough between the three of them.

"Ah thank you," Seungwoo gently bowed to her. "Thank you for supporting her, she really deserves it," he smiled at the fan who returned the gesture. "Just don't tell anyone about this yeah?" he winked at the girl.

"Sure thing! I'll tell my friend as well," the fan pointed at the other girl who sat by the window. The friend waved at the two, to which the group returned it. After a bit before separating ways. Returning back to Raehyun's family, the group had a lovely conversation.

Once done, her family exited the restaurant first with Raehyun and Hyunjun behind her parents and Seungwoo last to pay the bill. "I can pay oppa, it's not a big deal," she huffed at him.

Seungwoo smiled and patted her head. "No," his blunt answer made her younger brother snicker, his hand pulling his sister outside the restaurant, leaving the older to pay.

"Noona please keep him~" Hyunjun begged his sister. "I really like him! He's so nice and handsome!" he smiled.

"He's not a dog-" "He kinda looks like Snoopy," Hyunjun interrupted with a sheepish smile.

Raehyun playfully slapped her brother. "Stop. My love life does not concern you~ but I do to yours!" she snickered as her brother ran off to their parents, avoiding the topic of his love life. "Tch, that's what I thought dummy."

"Are you bullying your brother again?" Seungwoo asked her, slinging an arm around her shoulder as they walked behind her family. "He's a lot nicer than you are, honestly speaking," Raehyun made a face and pushed his arm off her shoulder, playfully shoving him as she fastened her pace. "Aigoo~ Is my Raehyunie angry?~" he cooed whilst petting her head as they walked.

"I'm not Subin," she bluntly replied, grabbing his hand to intertwine their hands, pulling him to catch up to her family. "Let's go get ice cream!" she smiled at her parents who immediately agreed to her suggestion, even Hyunjun who literally begged Seungwoo to come with them instead of returning home since he wanted Raehyun to have quality time with her family.

"Okay I'll come Hyunjun-ah," he smiled, walking with the younger boy towards the direction of the ice cream parlour.

"I like this one sweetie," Raehyun's mother murmured to her. The idol laughed and gave her mother a sweet smile, agreeing to her words.
